Tyler Herro

About time we finally offered him. Hopefully Bucky doesn't have upper hand since they were the first one to the table. With the current state of their program I feel good about our chances. Herro will be great at MU. He will be way better then the elder Hauser who may be getting recruited over in this situation.

We're recruiting over a 2016 recruit with a 2018 recruit?    :o

I anxiously await the day in which Marquette is recruiting over top 80 recruits.

There are 13 scholarships and only 5 positions.  How is recruiting someone two years younger at the same position "recruiting over"?

I think it makes perfect sense.  Sandy got recruited over when Wojo got Sam Hauser signed right?

Why would Gard have his bags packed in the first place?  He lives there.

I think you have a fundamental misunderstanding of the idiom in question.  Henry just got to Marquette from his home in Rice Lake.  Wojo saying he unpacked his bags means he feels at home.

So again why are you suggesting that Gard shouldn't unpack his bags?  Why would Gard have his bags packed in the first place?  He has lived in Madison for 15 years or so.

Are you confused?

Sam must be the fist guy in MU history that was recruited over before he even got to campus......by a guy who hasn't even committed yet!

He's using the wrong words, but I think he just means Gard shouldn't unpack his head coaching bags as it remains to be seen if Barry will keep him there in that capacity.

But he's been given a load of chickensh*t and is expected to make chicken salad.  Bo did him no favors.

I wouldn't worry. He's been around quite a bit.

Offering him right before he goes to UW was a great move.  He is tweeting about his Marquette offer just before he gets to their campus.

I could have sworn I saw someone retweet him saying he was offered by UW before they did the same when he was offered by MU.  Could be wrong though.

Gard offered Herro just before Christmas.  Given he's an 18, I think he'd wait to see the coaching situation at Wisconsin before he would commit to them.
I mean, OK, maybe he's secretly a serial killer who's pulled the wool over our eyes with his good deeds and smooth jumper - Pakuni (on Markus Howard)

Heard that Wisco was at Herro game tonight.

Have heard from a reliable source that has worked with both of them that he's better at this point than LaChance was at the same point in his high school career.  He would be a really, really good get.
