Effen cold-blooded mother-effer!

Diener saved the Warriors in Indy in 2003, and he just showed why he's one of so many Marquette fans' favorite players ever.

Not bad for a 106-year-old!

Watched the last few minutes. I do not miss buycks. Completely erratic and careless with the ball.

If all you watched of Buycks was the 4th quarter today, I can see why.  But he has been lighting it up in the TBT year after year.

9 turnovers today. At the end it was crazy... auto-turnover every time...
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Dwight has been the best player on the team. Not today though.

You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Ok... which one of you has been messing with Travis' Wikipedia page?  I went to see if he and Craft play in the same Italian league (looks like they do) and saw this:

Quote
He rejoined the Marquette Alumni team for the "Championship Weekend" of the 2019 tournament—hitting two consecutive three pointers to win in the semi-finals vs Team Heines while drunk on 6 cans of Miller Lite.

You obviously did not see the earlier games in the tournament.

Not a good game for him. But a large part of why they got to the final. I think he'll show up more. That steal and bucket at the end was clutch too.

I don’t get why people feel the need to make their uninformed opinions known to all...like I don’t know anything about this but here’s what I think.

Love how Diener moves the ball when he came in getting everyone involved. Then when it mattered most he had clean open looks and pulled trigger.

Great interview with Chapman after the game.

That was awesome, though I scared my daughter when I screamed "YES" as Travis drilled the deep three to win it. Fantastic game start to finish. Before the Elam Ending, I don't think either team led by more than 4 at any point. Team Hines was really tough and was aided by the refs letting almost everything go (except some really odd ticky-tack calls).

Cook was SOTG, but kudos to Derrick Wilson for playing great defense every time he was out there on Mike James. Whenever Derrick left the court, James had a lot more freedom to move and get to the rim. Derrick really locked him up effectively. Great game for him, and hit his free throws.
