Exactly. He was a decent option off the bench. That’s pretty much it. Stop making it more than that.
Duane had an outstanding freshman year when he was healthy. Duane had a very outstanding senior year until he got hurt.

Sophomore and Junior year he was hurt.

In D1 when a kid gets hurt it is hard to compete.

If it works differently at St. Norberts let us know.

For anyone going to Chicago, Marquette will sit in front of section 106/107 on Thursday. I called them to make sure.

He took a glue guy defensive stopper role that does not readily translate into statistics. Bottom line when we got to the most important game of the season he was in the starting lineup .

Also he was not healthy sophomore or junior year.

Actually, his defensive stats were pretty poor that season. He had a good steal% (2nd best behind JJJ) but his points per possession allowed was 2nd worst on the team and his defensive win shares and defensive +/- were both 5th best in a 9 man rotation. Combined with his bad offense, he was clearly one of the last two guys in the rotation.

Duane had an outstanding freshman year when he was healthy. Duane had a very outstanding senior year until he got hurt.

Sophomore and Junior year he was hurt.

In D1 when a kid gets hurt it is hard to compete.

If it works differently at St. Norberts let us know.

No one is questioning that Duane wasn't hurt. No one is questioning that if Duane wasn't hurt he could've (or maybe would've is more accurate) been a stud for us. Hell, I don't think it it is a stretch to say that if he was 100% healthy that he could have made the association. But he was hurt and he wasn't a stud because of it.

Where’s Duane sitting?

When I read this, I thought: "That's cold."

Then I read this ...

In between Kostas and Jeenathan.

Cracked me up.

Nice routine, youse two.

1. Duane willingly took a lesser role for the betterment of the team in 2016-17. He started down the stretch toward our tournament run because he was willing to be a glue guy.
2. He was finally healthy for a period during his grad transfer year at TAMU and did very well in a classic point guard role in a team that hovered around the top 10 until he was injured.

3 . He is healthy now and has been working out hard . A healthy Swaggy is a talented Swaggy.

Duane never looked the same to me post injury, which pretty much meant his entire college career. Take away the bounce & explosiveness from a smaller guy and unfortunately his game suffers.

A fully healthy Duane and a fully healthy Fulce are 2 players I really wish we could have seen but never did.

Assuming tickets are available at the gate? $15 ticket turns into $27 with ticketmaster fees.

Wonder if we'll get Elmore explaining that it's not really a travel even though it looks like a travel and he takes three steps.

Diener is now listed as point guard instead of coach. Is he playing now?

He is from Milwaukee. Played at UW-GB and Mankato. He's been overseas and a couple of games in the G-League. Not sure who he is replacing.

What is McNeal's status?

He still isn't listed on the roster.   There was talk/hope he might be able to play if they made it to Chicago.

That's the best we could get? Between the entire MU network and all the basketball players in MKE that's rough
