Title: #jackstrong
Post by: KipsBayEagle on December 25, 2014, 09:52:56 PM
Hey guys.  First off let me say merry christmas to everyone and hope they are having a healthy and happy holiday.
Second, and more importantly, I wanted to let you guys know about #jackstrong.  Last night, a good friend of mine and his wife welcomed their first child into the world, a beautiful boy named Jack.  After the delivery, doctors noticed that Jack was having some problems; long story short, jack was not getting enough Oxygen enriched blood delivered to his heart.  Tomorrow Jack will be going in for surgery.  My buddy is not only a graduate and avid supporter of Marquette Basketball, he worked for Marquette and was involved with the basketball program for a number of years.
It has always amazed me how the Marquette community supports their own.  This is another opportunity to show a valuable member of the Marquette community how important it is to be a Marquette Warrior.  At the bottom I have attached a link to #jackstrong, a website dedicated to supporting them, along with the excellent staff at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.  If you have a second, please check out the website, and any kind words and prayers you could send their way would be greatly appreciated.

Merry Christmas and God Bless You

Hoping for a Christmas Miracle. How is WarriorJack doing after a long and precarious day yesterday?  Praying for the best for the little guy for a strong recovery.
