You bring up their race...for what reason, exactly?

was I wrong?  if it were reversed, 82 and jock breath would have started separate threads

Agreed, that's a ridiculous take, especially because of the situation around it. After Year 1 (so year two) Crean left three starters in Hayward, Cubillan, and Acker. In addition, Joe Fulce and Chris Otule were already committed to Marquette under Crean. So were Nick Williams and Tyshawn Taylor, both of whom went on to have productive high-major careers.

Yes, Crean was able to bring Williams along with while Buzz couldn't keep Taylor, but there was at least some foundation there, and Buzz offset those losses with Buycks and DJO. Had Crean not left, the cupboard wasn't remotely bare, and Buzz had a solid foundation for year two as indicated by 3 starters leftover from Crean and a 6-seed that year.

Buzz recruiting John Dawson is worth at least one spot.  Lower

You actually touch on what is going to be an interesting legal and philosophical
argument going forward.   Can felons own guns?  Because a couple thousand gun lovers have felony convictions now.    In the recently mentioned cases,  Charlotte and Elkhorn, felons who had served their sentences returned to society and illegally obtained guns with tragic consequences.
Should the convicted felons of January 6 be allowed to own weapons?   Before you answer, should the recent Israel/Palestine protesters who will be convicted of felonies related to destruction of property and assault be forever banned from firearm ownership?
I am in the camp of a blanket ban.

the Elkhorn dude was freed early by big tony evers.  anyone responsible for freeing anyone from a sentence early or paroling or letting them bail out should be held responsible for that person going out and killing someone.

if a doctor causes harm on a patient, they are held responsible and rightly so.  so should judges and anyone else associated with releasing a felon.

Would be great if the front page of this thread had an updated list of all known non-con games (And dates)...

Kinda crazy that the House of Representatives - in a total bipartisan vote - just made it illegal to speak poorly of a foreign government.

I mean, listen, we're talking about showcase. Not the Classic! Not the Classic! Not the Classic! We're talking about showcase. Not the Classic; not the Classic that I go out there and die for and play every Classic like it's my last. Not the Classic - we're talking about showcase, man. I mean, how silly is that?

For sure, nothing you said here is out of bounds and no doubt a buyback can be a way for management to print money for themselves in a way.  I just don't subscribe to the notion that shareholders and "large shareholders" need to be separate in any way to make it look any worse.

We'll agree to agree with your first sentence and agree to disagree with your second.

Too cartoonish for me. Watched one episode and didn’t go back for more.

That's why there are a bazillion shows out there. Everything isn't for everybody.

For example, the creative minds behind Westworld were also behind Fallout. I tried to watch Westworld 3x and I just couldn't get into it. But lots of people (and critics) thought it was great. And that's OK!

You don’t understand the brilliant gambits of Elon

"Let's see ... who buys EVs? Woke tree-huggers! So ... who should I pizz off so much that they won't want to buy my EVs? Woke tree-huggers! No wonder everybody calls me a genius!"

Damarius Owens didn’t make the final roster for the Iverson Classic?

I see it’s this weekend and didn’t see anything mentioned.

There is the Iverson Classic and the Iverson classic showcase……which was held yesterday……that is the one Owens was supposed to be in…….no idea what happened in the game…… https://www.universe.com/events/iverson-classic-24k-showcase-and-iverson-games-tickets-MXC152
