I am sort of glad it is gone.  No need to boast that our team rarely dunks.  Would rather have a steals meter or possibly a free throws made meter, although that one could get ugly.

I like the idea of a steals meter.

I guess I ask myself .. what's most important for our team to be successful?  Clearly, points are important .. rebounds too.    Dunks?  Not so much.

I like steals because they have been so reflective of our approach as a team over the last few years.  It represents an aggressiveness and swagger that I believe has been the identity of our squad.

Can we just have meters for all of them?

I kinda agree.  I'd like to see a header with dunks, steals, rebounds, and maybe even studs - laid out in several barcharts.

On the other hand, I guess the thing about steals and rebounds is that those can be found in any MU statistics table for any player at any point in time.  That's not unique.  Meanwhile, tracking dunks and studs is something only we do.

So...with that in mind, maybe I am leaning towards just dunks and studs, or one of those two (although I already voted for steals...hmmm).

Haha you beat me to it indeelaw.

I was actually going to ask Rocky if you could create a page similar to the stats page
http://www.muscoop.com/index.php?action=stats where studs, dunks, rebounds, etc could be like the bar charts.

Also this season Dom and Jerel (barring injury) should surpass George Thompson as the all time leading scorers.  Could you create a list similar to the top 10 Posters to show where they rank?  Jerel should set a steals record as well.

Dunks don't appear on the stat sheet, and MU doesn't offically track the stat (that I know of) so its not on the wiki

Gotta have the Dunk-Meter!  This is the only place I can get that "stat"!

I don't have a preference.  My only request is that we don't have so many that you have to scroll down for 10 seconds to reach the posts.

On the topic of "scroll reduction" (MODS THIS IS FOR YOU)...is there any way to trip the top off of the wap version when viewing from a cell phone?  Half of my screen is taken up with locked posts that i've already read or don't care to via cell.  My assumption is that anyone reading from a cell phone probably doesn't need to reference the 'welcome' post.

Hate to nit-pick.  The site is great.  Just a suggestion.

Can we have a "Cry-O-Meter"?

It should be at a count of two.

How about our up-to-date leaders in each stat. For example, points leader, rebounds leader, steals leader, etc. 1 of each. Dunks could be a category too...

I have always enjoyed teh dunk meter in the past.  Maybe keep it like we had it but add a stats page with the rest of the stats.  Or have a random meter display each t time you reload.

Keep it.  It's not about rewarding good basketball.  It's about entertainment.  A "Steals O'Meter" et. al. would be dull since we can get it off the stats page anyway.
