First time I've heard of it.  But you can read about it here:

Basically you just need someone where the local game is to sopcast. Kind of like slingbox, but everyone can watch the feed and you just hook your video feed to your computer. Its free for all parties. Usually you can find some pretty random sopcast feeds by just typing in google x vs y Sopcast. If its not on channelsurfing.net, this is usually the last hope.  PLEASE someone come through for us out of towners!..

So .. I got sopcast running .. but .. you need another piece of software to take your TV tuner and streamify it.   Any suggestions?

I'll get this running for the next games.

Thanks MU_hilltopper... If you have a little time to tinker, try http://www.videolan.org/ its open source.. you should be able to get a local stream of your tv card. Otherwise I think windows media encoder http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/encoder/default.mspx would work as well. Both are free.

.. Wow .. well, I'm willing, but I just spent a couple hours trying to get my TV-Tuner to encode properly .. no luck.  WME's preview of the tuner picture is completely fubar .. like it's interlaced, but that's not it because I tried every single option to deinterlace, etc.

Eventually, I think it may be my somewhat old TV tuner card .. read somewhere it works with WME7, but WME9 has issues with it.

So I tried VLC, which I use on a regular basis anyhow.  But I can't for the life of me figure out how to stream that.  So many freaking settings, I tried a few, but no luck.

So .. if you find a tutorial or have clues on VLC (which displays my tuner fine (although no sound)) .. I will work on it more.
