Screens
« on: December 11, 2021, 08:55:35 PM »
Marquette runs a pick and roll offense, but slips just about every screen. They rarely ever actually hit a defender on the screen.

Makes defending Marquette pretty easy when Marquette shoots 30% from deep. Just double the ball handler, tag the slip with a corner defender, big man recovers to the slip, helper rotates back to the corner.

Need to start actually screening so we can get the ball into the paint. The team can’t shoot.

Superb point BLM.  I was thinking the same thing.
