Maybe now Gwynn Jr will see more time, although I am sad to see Jenks leave... he stuck with the Brewers during all the crappy years, now leaves when we are finally getting good.

And the Brewers sign Gabe Kapler to be a part-timer in the outfield.  Since the Red Sox felt sorry for him, they let him "retire" and manage one of their single-A teams last year to one of the worst records in the minor leagues.  Then we sign this clown out of retirement, and it isn't even a minor league deal.

I think we're going to really have to rely on the young guys improving this year and the pitchers staying healthy and the bullpen playing over their heads.  I really don't see how any of Doug Melvin's moves are an improvement over what we had last year.

well we really can't blame anyone on Cordero leaving...

Cordero doesn't mind playing on a crappy team, thats fine... he can have that extra 1 million dollars to play on a team that fights for the cellar instead of the Brewers who are contenders this past year and this upcoming this year.

with Jenkins leaving, sad, but we won't miss much from him, Gwynn will play his way into the spot and be a stud, by June we will be saying "Jenkins who?"
