Me? I know nothing. I'm just some bum who lives in Texas.

I am enjoying the take going around Buckyville right now that #33 rated DJ Carton was scared that #335 rated Tai Strickland would take all his minutes so he didn't include the Badgers in his final 6.  ::)
I thought you were joking, but no...reading Buckyville, they really are all pumped up about the #335 recruit and think that therefore they don't need Carton.  Holy F they've fallen into the rabbit hole.

I am a very proud UW grad but good lord there are some strange posters on their boards. Too be fair, there are crazies on every team's boards but they really take the cake at times. I am pulling for Gard on some level, mainly because Bo was such a scumbag but I don't think he will ultimately be very good. He has the charisma of a dish rag. If I want insurance advice I might go to Gard but other than that...blah.

You just don’t understand.  They’ve learned from the Joey Hauser recruitment and now know that a bird in hand is better than two in the bush. No reason to recruit top 50 guys when you can easily grab 2* players and be set at the position for four years.

Yeah.....making the argument that a Top 350 kid is scaring off a Top 30 kid is pretty delusional.....LOL!

Of course if you can try that line with Herro.....You might as well try it again.....

Worse than the 350 v 50 argument is saying that the 350 player has a higher ceiling, which definitely happened.

I think I have some eligibility left.  I probably wouldn't even be top 1000, think of how high my ceiling is!

Hey, even Russell Westbrook was unranked. Per Buckyville, you've got a chance.

It's fun picking on Bucky but we've certainly had our share of modestly recruited guys that did well and some highly ranked kids that didn't work out.  I just want to start beating them every December.  Then the world will be back on its proper axis.

This is true. It's just funny watching them rationalize away each and every recruit that goes elsewhere.  In this case, a dude ranked in the 30's was scared off by the intense competition of superstars Trice, King, Pritzl, and especially Mr. 335.

All true.  Very delusional fanbase.  But I suppose that's true lots of places.

The funny thing is, its not something you need to rationalize. All coaches lose more recruiting battles than they win (except maybe K and Cal...and it took them a while to get there). There doesn't need to be some smoking gun. All it takes is "huh, I guess he didn't want to come here." That's all the explanation that is required.

Now there's a guy saying Wisconsin is the favorite for Jalen Johnson based off of crystal bowel.

To their credit, a couple people scoffed at the notion.

Funny stuff.

No hora. It's a non-religious event. He was raised Catholic, her mostly non-religious (though our family did have our "Jewish phase." The wedding itself will be overseen by a friend who has been certified to do such things. The music will be classic rock, 90s crud (she and her friends still love Britney) and schmaltzy (but nice) stuff like "Wonderful Tonight" and "Here, There and Everywhere."

But thanks for your concern about Nads' nads.

Find out what that 'certified' friend is officially called in Mexico.  We were married in Massachusetts and our 'certified' friend who performed the service was officially called the "solemnizer" - it has provided a really good 14 year running joke.

Congrats on their union!
