Kolek planning to go pro
Just saw the promo clip for Anthony Kim joining LIV, saying this as someone who was a big AK fan in the late 2000s...Holy HELL he looks awful. I don't mean to speculate, but it looks like he spent the last 12 years skiing, and by that I mean the only kind you can do in Dallas. His nose does not look normal
Can someone please remind me why we're supposed to care about Anthony Kim? I'll hang up and listen.
He was fun and popular 12-16 years ago. I followed his group at 2008 Ryder Cup. Kim has had a lot of injuries and quite a few surgeries . It is an interesting comeback to Professional Golf human interest type story. PGA Tour also wanted to bring Kim back, but didn’t have a method to pay off Kims reported $ 10 million disability contract
He took the easy way out and got an insurance policy for an injury that sidelined him for a decade instead of working through driver yips.
Zero interest in the AK story. Found it amusing that he was AWOL for a decade and wish he had stayed that way. He had an exciting year of golf and his attitude made him star, but I did not feel cheated as a golf fan that he vanished from the tour.
Kim saying he is" playing like A... but encouraged" . Love the perspective. https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/04/sport/anthony-kim-liv-golf-return-last-spt-intl/index.html
