JD 1994, Indiana University. Unlike your degree from the google school of law. Different jurisdictions have different definitions for assault and/or battery. I would venture to say all jurisdictions would agree that chanting from the river to the sea would not constitute an assault. The imminent harm element is not there.
So Hards's new standard is protestors he agrees with can hit people all they like as long as they don't hurt them is protected by the First Amendment. They attacked her, and counter-protestors came to her aid; you cannot see what insanity you are arguing for?
Kinda crazy that the House of Representatives - in a total bipartisan vote - just made it illegal to speak poorly of a foreign government.
Huh.A group of pro-Israel counterprotestors repeatedly attacked pro-Palestine demonstrators at UCLA as police stood by, a New York Times investigation has found.Separate reporting from The Daily Beast indicates the counterprotestors were partly funded by outside agitators..https://www.mediaite.com/news/pro-israel-counterprotestors-instigated-violence-against-pro-palestine-demonstrators-ny-times-finds/
I'm sure similar bills will soon be passed, where African American groups can define racism (All lives matter would be illegal), and CAIR will be allowed to define what constitutes discrimination against Arabs/muslims, and each group (i.e. Native Americans) will also be allowed to write their own definitions, which will be enacted into law for the Department of Education to follow.
The Bill has parts that are definitely vague and problematic with regard to free speech. That said, Title 6 of the Civil Rights Bill in the 60s is also unconstitutional. College and Universities have a code of conduct and the ability to enforce them. The fact that they selectively do so is what's at issue. Essentially, this particular Bill is bad and exacerbates the situation and future problems.
https://wallstreetjournal-ny.newsmemory.com/?publink=04bd67e6d_134d29cNeva gonna happen 'cuz da Palestinians don't want it to happen, aina?
Well, the Palestinians, then, should never have elected Hamas to govern Gaza, aina?
The fact that this is enough of a justification to say "tough sh*t....you deserve what you get" is pretty gross.
Hamas wouldn't have any significant power/control if it weren't for Israel and Netanyahu
That election occurred in 2006, and Hamas secured less than 50% of the vote. Of course there have been no elections since then because Hamas suspended further elections. Oh and half the people who currently live in Gaza weren't even born then. The fact that this is enough of a justification to say "tough sh*t....you deserve what you get" is pretty gross.
Call the truth whatever you want to call it, aina?
If the facts are accurate, da Buffoon gave a boatload of U.S. cash to Iran. In turn, the Iranians fund Hamas. See how that works? As I've stated before, Israel could bury Hamas right in their sandbox, if Blinken and da BOTUS would get out of their way. But, see, we have an election in November and the incumbent needs every vote he can pander to, aina?
You're a sick individual who repeatedly affirms you don't care about the murder of civilians.
Israel would not be able to bury Hamas. You have a weak understanding of how terrorist movements work. Would you feel that Israel would be justified if they used nuclear weapons on Gaza?
