It's Markus. Despite the ugly turnovers, he took over & cemented the dominant win.

Markus. Nobody really close to 2nd.
-
Obviously Markus, but just about everyone had an above average game. Props to the team and to the coaches for having them ready to go.
-
Markus.
Good bounce back game. Johnnies cut it to 6 and Markus et al took over. Great TO by Wojo.
Go Warriors! Let’s get EM tomorrow!
-
BE POY via unanimous
-
Anim. Kept the momentum up early; didn't really turn the ball over.
I don't know how y'all are voting for Markus. He didn't even score in the last five minutes.
-
Scar had a very good first half,he was definitely the first half sotg
-
We finally kicked St. John's A--.

Markus.
Sacar gets honorable mention.
-
Markus. Hallelujah -- he's back to being Markus just in time!
-
Sacar was the main defender on Ponds, who wasn't much of a factor shooting 4/14. That defense kept Marquette in front when their offense struggled. He was great tonight.

Oh I don’t know. Brew’s thread was first.
Either way, the BE POY was the SOTG.
-
Morrow. Solid game warrants acknowledgement, even if BEPOY is assured SOTG.
-
I only had one key to the game before tip-off.
Start the game strong!
Sacar did and set the tone for the game. Add great defense on Ponds and he gets my vote.
-
Markus but that D was in gear. 0.76 DRating. Play of the game was Ed's technical dunk. Air left the Garden.

Markus by a mile. Ed and Sacar for honorable mentions.
-
Howard played big time. He tightened up the D tonight and then played within himself for the most part.
-
Markus.

Although I picked #0, I agree that Sacar was outstanding. When he plays well, especially offensively, we almost always win because the opponents' defense can't possibly focus on everybody.
We had the best backcourt -- by far -- last night. Will be a big test to be able to say the same after tonight's game. I think we will!
-
Markus, but how about that production from the Center spot. 17 points, 12 boards, only 4 fouls. We knew we had the size advantage and we took advantage of it.

Or the first 10

Gotta go with Markus. Once he was able to turn it on, he was unstoppable.
Credit to Sacar for playing a big role early when Markus wasn't shooting much.

Great post, DJO.
There are folks who want Wojo to "do something" with the 5 -- start Morrow, change minutes, more Heldt, play Theo and Ed together, etc -- but why? With very few exceptions, Wojo has had a very good feel about when to use which 5. Don't change what works. Glad he didn't last night, either!
