Stanford will beat UW-madison by at least 10 if not 14.  The B1G is an absolute joke in football this year.

You are being generous toward Wisconsin.

With two minutes left, Wisconsin has rushed for 542 yards and has three guys over 100, two of whom have over 200.  That is unreal.

I am not a Beilema fan, but I must admit, that was a pretty impressive performance.

This is great. I get to keep my New Years Day traditions going. I'll get to watch UW lose in the Rose Bowl, and then see MU win at home.

Is UW the worst rose bowl team ever?

Probably.  There was the 6-4-1 UCLA team that ended up crushing a 10-1 Illlinois team.  But I think this is the first 5 loss team to play in the Rose Bowl.

That was a pretty competitive UCLA team as well.  I've been following the program for 35+ years as our family knew the Vermeils and the Donahues, both head coaches at UCLA.

The '83 UCLA team ('84 Rose Bowl) lost to BYU by 2 points, lost to #1 Nebraska in Lincoln (got smoked), lost at top 15 Georgia, and lost at Arizona by a field goal.  That team beat a top ten Washington team, won at USC, won at Oregon, Wash. State and Stanford.  The only game they were out of all year was at Nebraska.

Stanford is a beast on defense again this year.  The only wildcard is Stanford's freshman quarterback.  He is very good, but will he play like a freshman?  So far, the last 5 games in which he was named the starter he has looked very good.
