Eating Crow
« on: February 16, 2023, 12:19:06 PM »
I must admit my expectations the last two years put me in that COLE group. After last nights game I am eating the most juicy, tender, tasty crow I have ever eaten. More delectable than beating #1 Villanova. More savory than the few NCAA well one and dones over the last few years. I hope for more crow to be on the menu in the coming weeks. Keep the crow coming.

Crow-q au vin?

Crowsted?

Crowted in bread crumbs and deep fried?

Shredded and put into Tacrows?

In a Crowssant?

No need to eat crow. That said, we are relearning the powerful message of a leader of men, what team looks like and focusing on the task at hand. I loved that Stevie mentioned Kolek’s famous preseason quote during the presser.

As happy as I am, I more happy for Shaka and the team. Shaka and the boys have won over a fanbase, and soon the nation, and very happy for them.

Next time someone eats crow the preparation needs to be crow-d sourced.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I can't complain about anyone that didn't see this coming.  I just wish we could convert the few who haven't bought in by now.  This team has been a joy to watch, and I am looking forward to few "extra" opportunities.

And pass a Crow-monsieur

Anyone that has not bought in, as missed out on a ton of fun and probably never will buy in. There are plenty of fans on the Shaka bandwagon and it has left the station.

Hah.

Look, you don't have anything to apologize for.  You had to be shown.  Now you have.

So glad you have come into the light. Tower, Goose and others have been understanding. I have certainly not been and beat up on you repeatedly. I really should have let it go. You are already 75 and I will be there in April. Time to focus on the Shaka Era and only visit the Al Era for warm memories.

For those who believe in ghosts, I really believe Al would scream at us "Get behind Shaka and stop coming back to the sixties and seventies. And I have been dead for years, so please leave me alone! Keep it up and I will punch you put. "

Are we good?

No need to fire-up the slow cooker just yet. Maybe get it off from the top shelf, but let’s see how things play out through the BE tourney.

You do know people can disagree with each other and still be good, and by the way I just turned 76 last month. Happy 75 in a few weeks.
