You gotta be kidding me...Hell, give me a contract to get to that 90% mark, I can shoot respectably from 3 and make free throws.

The owners are rolling in so much money, they don't know how to spend it all.

I saw Mark Cuban on Bill Simmons new show and he was saying  he was shocked at how cheaply the Clippers were bought. Meanwhile, Heisy was pontificating - chicas style - on how Ballmer had overpaid.

You can never overpay for a money tree.

Yep.  Seems like they have a new style of jersey nearly every game, then the go sell authentic replicas for $150 on NBA.com.  They wouldn't be selling if customers weren't buying....

And the cost of tickets these days - yikes!

If I were an athlete and a team brought athletes from a different sport to try to recruit me to them I'd give them a "Thanks but no thanks" before the meeting even started.

Why? I'd think Brady would have a lot to share about being a superstar in Boston. Even if you don't see it as a positive, why would it be an automatic deal breaker?

That's why the only games I go to - Brewers, Bucks, or Packers - are when I get comps.

As much as I love the Packers, watching the game on TV beats spending $300 - $500 to attend a game.

Wreaks of desperation to me. "We know Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, and even Al Horford aren't exactly Russell Westbrook even alone or CP3, Blake, and DeAndre or Kwahi and LaMarcus, but hey, the football team in town is awesome!"

Dammit.    The Pistons signed Leuer.    Don't you hate when your professional team signs a player you hated in college?

Durant knows what kind of talent each team has, and he knows that he has all the power in the situation. They're not trying to hide anything from him, and they're no more desperate than most other teams.

I hated Kareem when he was in college. That signing worked out pretty well. Same thing with Charles Woodson.

You don't think an athlete like Kevin Durant could get some QT with anyone he wants to no matter where he's playing?

Bulls sign Rondo. Yuck.

I love Rondo but he needs someone like KG who can put him in his place. Hoiberg couldn't control a locker room with guys like Rose, Butler, Noah, and Gasol...Rondo alone is far worse than that combination.

I wonder what the over/under is for number of games played before Rondo and Jimmy duke it out.

No denying Rondo's talent - though it isn't what it once was - but the guy is a cancer.

And then there is the actual construction of the team. It just seems like a bunch of ill-fitting pieces.

Well see how Curry plays with another ball dominant player. I hate the 5 out system, a lot of high school coaches I know hate it too cause all their kids do now is try to jack up 3s like their Steph Curry.
