My picks would have been correct but I listened to Herm

Herm’s and your picks were reverse psychology for the team. You guys knew what you were doing with those picks.  Great bulletin board material.  Well thought out. Nice work!

Illinois is the only miss game by game so far. Had 'em at 16-4 in league play and still feel pretty good about that given the underperformance after the top 3.

Regular Season Record: 22-8
Big East Record: 14-6
Big East Tourney Result: Lose in Semis
March Madness Result: Elite 8

Highest AP ranking pre-tourney: 3

Both KenPom & torvik have us going 14-6 in BEast play, with 8 losses on the year — same as my preseason prediction. The AP #3 ranking looks good too.

Looking forward to the Elite 8!!

Had us going 3-4 to end the year, with a loss at UCONN, three wins, then ending the year with three Ls. Buckle up.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Yes, shortly.

On Friday I took a ball to the face (pawz) and busted my lip. My white TBT Deonte Burton jersey has been cleaned up though, and I’m ready to compete.

Calling out the score with a swollen & bloody lip was a challenge, but I continued to dominate on the court and will again this week.

I was correct on 8 regular season losses, 14-6 Conf record and AP poll high of 3. So, get ready for a BET finals loss and the Elite 8!

You also had us 22-8 regular season.

So your prediction of a covid cancellation throws a wrench in it all.

I had them 24-7 and being ranked #1 for at least one week. They have their chances for #1 and I think reached #3. As we sit here today, I am still banking on FF appearance provided TK is back and at full strength a week from Thursday.

One game off for the total record, two off in league play. Not bad.

It was a good prediction, JB, and I seriously applaud you for it. But thank goodness you were wrong (albeit just barely - thanks Sean Jones!) about the loss to UCLA.

Had we dropped that one, we'd have a loss to what turned out to be a garbage team, a meaningless win over a D2 team, and a game against a meh Gonzaga team. Instead, thanks to the win over UCLA, we ended up with a decisive victory over the then-No. 1 Kansas, and a "good loss" to Purdue.

That win over UCLA arguably was the most important game of the entire regular season and will have turned out to be at least a 1-seed-line difference for Marquette. At least.

As for your Elite 8 prediction ... we all hope you end up not giving MU enough credit!
