Title: Harry Froling puff piece from Dodds

There.   Gave this piece the title you cynical bastards want.      Seriously, though, as bad as it is, it is something and I appreciate hearing what the young men have to say in their puff pieces.

This interview is much better than a lot of the others he’s done.

It beats his leading the question into a simple yes or no answer and his absurd Ike Eke soccer player story line he’s created.

Good news is he's no longer defying my Theo / Faisal comp I've given for years and is now embracing & repeating it often

All the boards add value..i really dont understand the venom that is directed toward John  Dodds, he is in my opinion one of the good guys and i love his humor and insight and memory.
Tremendous person to meet in person and get to know!
On the  other  hand some of the posters on here need to hmmm ahhh nevermind.

In the 3rd video, Harry's drive from the baseline corner finishing with a little jump hook in the lane is a nice play. Shows a pretty good handle and mobility.

Agreed, John adds value that is not really on this board besides Big Daddy.  He is doing some nice interviews of the players which are always insightful.  John is really
the all time MU fan and does not want to hear anything negative about MU's program.  I was one of many that got banned from his board.  I have said before, Al was
no different then most coaches, he took care of his players, in many ways that were not above board.  It happened here and at UCLA.  Those were the best 2 programs, maybe Indiana as well, in the late 60's and early 70's.

No need for animosity - the article is fine and serves its intended purpose as something other than hard hitting analysis.

Harry does look like he's dropped a TON of weight and looks ready to rock.

I think Harry is going to be a huge difference maker for the squad.

I think Harry is going to be a huge difference maker for the squad.

He's an X factor for sure. A player with his size and shooting touch is a very rare thing. Has good handles for his size as well. His advanced stats at SMU weren't spectacular but losing around 40 lbs of bad weight can make a huge difference. Impossible to know for sure how that will change his production. I am cautiously optimistic.

John is not a bad guy, he just has an incredible ability to not recognize reality when it comes to his take / his team.

If Tom Crean backed a Brink's truck up to Scott Merritt's front door, John would argue Dick Bennett hired a young, hungry and willing-to-work Tom Crean to deliver it to a friend of Devin Harris.

Also, he compared Aaron Rodgers to Randy Wright.

Dodds cares and sometimes he loses perspective because of it.  He also hangs on to odd theories like the whole BC shooting background excuse.

But this interview is better than I have seen from any other source. Yeah that may be an indictment of those sources, but at least he is providing something.

He says that all the time about the shooting backround, then I see teams come in here and shoots lights out, and wonder what John is smoking.

players in the past have told him that it is a difficult shooting background........which may be true......reality is the data doesn't show that teams as a whole shoot worse at the BC so it really doesn't matter
