Aaron Bowen - Dunk You Very Much

While we're at it with lending our votes out to others in the Marquette family, Aaron could use some help to win this on-line dunk contest.  The video on the right side of the page shows two of his dunks - I'm a fan of the 2nd.

Nothing on his schedule on my side of town so I'll have to stroll across town and watch this kid play to let you know what he looks like first hand.  To be honest, last kid from Florida that lasted 4 yrs in the great white north was Oliver Lee (please correct me if I'm wrong).

I live in Florida too. Does anyone know if his team (Wolfson) made the playoffs this year. I was just wondering so I could go see him play.

Wolfson did pretty well this year.  I know they didn't play my daughter's school (which would have been an overwhelming win for them).  Everytime I looked them up in the paper, they were winners.

I did hear they lost recently to Gainesville, which is pretty far out of the Jax area (translation - probably lost in the state playoffs).  They might be done for the year, so I'll have to watch an AAU game or wait until next season.  I think they come out my way twice next year.

OK thanks for the information. I live in Orlando so I'm not traveling up to Jacksonville to see them.

Understood.  Florida is much bigger than most people realize.  My last trip to Key West took 11 hours (at high speed for most).  I'm glad my kids are finally outgrowing Disney.  That trip has been getting a lot longer!
