Chicagoland Bars for Gamewatching?
« on: December 06, 2018, 08:05:37 PM »
Scoop Search function says Schoolyard is the place to be on gameday. Chicago alum Facebook page says Commonwealth Tavern for the upcoming Badger game.

Any other spots in the Chicagoland area?

Which is the opposite of what the Links Taproom Group claimed when they took it over.

Courtyard Garage last year had a bunch of Marquette stuff on walls. Definitely contingent for the one game I went to but nothing like Schoolyard had been.

School
Old town pub flys a marquette flag. Schoolyard is still an option.

I may end up at Kirkwoods (IU/Nebraska) as I have to be at a dinner right after.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

You mean Cortlands Garage or you got a tv in the parking structure at the courtyard Marriott?

LOL.  Yes Cortlands Garage.  With all my travel I probably have watched a few games at Courtyard by Marriott though.   8-)

Yeah, I haven't seen any stuff up there either.

If you want to go into enemy territory, you could also watch at Will's Northwoods.

I've watched it at Will's the past two years because I was on TBOX and was with my Cousin from UW and friend from MU. It actually has a decent mix and they have the MU logo on the menus despite no memorabilia on the walls.
