I'd say my favorite is Balistreri's .....I mean Saz's.   ;)

Always nice hitting the italian joint then going to Goolsby's for my pregame warmup.

A new place opened up at 1007 N Old World Third Street called The Durango Grill.  It's a block from the BC and it has some of the best BBQ in the City.  It also helps that they had $1 beers for people in MU gear before the Rutgers games and some decent televisions around the place.

Awesome Beef Brisket and the Volcano Chili is kick-you-in-your-teeth hot (and it won the 2010 Milwaukee Chili Bowl title this year) :)

I always like to head back to campus and hit up Real Chili for a spicy bowl with the works for my pre-game meal...It really doesn't get any better than that.

Cosign on Trinity.  Wander in an hour and 15 before any game, and there's usually plenty of seating, decent food, price, etc.

It's become a favorite- AJ Bombers on Water and Knapp. Excellent burgers, very reasonably priced, and smoke free. The owner and staff are great. Can't recommend it enough.

I usually save Real Chili for the end of a night of celebrating. :)

Was going to say that. The Wings are delicious. went their before the Provo game, after the Queens/Boys game. Bartenders are cool people. They have great drink deals besides the $1 beer.

Note: Durango used to be Capones, it's next to OGBH.

Trinity's Irish nachos are great though too

Bombers: Overrated by twitterwhores... twores? Burger would be better if it had a better bun

I would argue that McBob's has the best reuben in the city.  Gotta head out to North ave to get it, but my personal favorite.

The singnage at Durango Grill said it was for Marquette games (and didn't say "For the MU v Rutgers game"), and since Ari saw the same deal before the Providence game it definitely wasn't a one time thing.

Stopped by the Durango Grill yesterday before the game.   Beef Brisket was excellent... Chili was also very good, smokey, great on a cold milwaukee day.

Only problem was the cook scorched our wings and they were dry...would have been good otherwise...  2 for 1 drink deal.

Thanks for the recommendation, I'd go back again.
