Almost 20 ppg on Varsity in Indiana? I'll take it. Worst case he's a good practice body. Best case he turns into one of those walk-on surprise stories.

So preferred = guaranteed roster spot, no scholarship, but could be granted a scholarship in '23/24. Though technically (pending Lewis and any other news not yet released) we have no more scholarships available in '23/24 right now.

Question on the scholarship table: Given the listing of Jonah Lucas, shouldn't Cam Brown, Brendan Carney, and Michael Kennedy be listed as well? Or did I miss an announcement that they're not coming back?

Perhaps, I've kinda' slacked on walk-on's with the table. I added Jonah specifically because he's guaranteed a roster spot, I'm not certain about the other 3.

1) Clarissa doesn't edit the table
2) Because he is guaranteed a roster spot (i.e. -he's guaranteed on the team unlike other walk-ons)
3) I'm happy to include other walk-ons that have made the team when ya'll make me aware. But sometimes/usually I don't care that much.

Cam Brown was definitely a preferred walk-on. Here was his recruiting announcement.

Brendan Carney and Michael Kennedy made the team on tryouts in the Wojo Era. They were both retained by Shaka ,and neither has quit , so I would say they are safely on the roster.

Was being a wisenheimer. I think the walk-ons devote untold hours to MU basketball, and without much hope for public huzzahs, maybe a minute or two in garbage time of a blowout. True, Scoop has a "Scholarship Table" but the walk-ons are depicted in a different color and identified as walk-ons (and, ergo, not scholarship recipients). I doubt that any of them are grabbing screen shots of their names on our table, but I think the majority of real fans are interested of knowing who they are and that they should be included.
