Where we watching games tonite in downtown Dallas?
-
Nowhere.
You’re staying in the hotel and resting up / conserving energy for the main event. Perhaps a tea from the hotel lobby. Order in an appetizer or two (nothing that might upset your stomach for tomorrow). Then you’re setting an alarm / requesting a wake up call and shutting out the lights promptly at 9:45pm central time.

No, this is bad advice. The fans have gotta start ramping up this afternoon--simulate the game day action! Today is a day of practice.

Driving up from San Antonio tomorrow morning, but I would like to know where the marquette people will be, bar wise.

I'd lean this way too, if I was there. But as long as all of you in Dallas focus and attack mercilessly, all will be well.

Yes need to practice otherwise I’ll pull my oblique and be out for the game. So where is practice?
-
Practice: start with the 12-ozers and work your way up to pints. Do not attempt any heavy lifting until you are warmed up. Multiple reps will be needed and stamina is essential.

And with high volumes of hubris that comes with the expectation of a double digit win.

Deep Ellum
I was going to say similar. In June 2022 I stayed on Commerce Avenue near the AT&T HQ and AT&T square next to which is full of restaurants. I noticed on my last morning run as I went up Commerce that after running under the highway that I missed out on Deep Ellum that was the old town full of bars, restaurants and clubs.
-
I've been to Dallas twice--once in the early '90s and once again about 5 years ago. Both times I had all of my fun in Deep Ellum.
-
Doing it wrong as I'm out in Austin tonight. See yall tomorrow!
-
Hangin at the Hero across from arena in case folks are in the area.
-
We went to Press Box Grill. Bob Diener’s bar in Fond du Lac is named Press Box. Thought for sure it would be MU central.
