McDonald's All Americans
« on: March 24, 2015, 09:33:42 PM »
I hope this doesn't come off as self promoting, I certainly don't intend it to be that way, but wanted to share, since it's basketball related.

I've been asked to speak to the boys/girls McDonald's All Americans this Sunday, at the Ronald McDonald House in Chicago. My son and I have been staying there for a few weeks, and the House has asked me to do some media for them, describing our stay there and my son's fight against cancer. We were fortunate to do an interview with Pau Gasol last week: http://www.nba.com/bulls/community/gasol-bulls-brighten-day-children-chicagos-ronald-mcdonald-house

If people are interested, I'll try to post pictures after the event on Sunday.

Make sure to tell any uncommitted players that Marquette is a great producer of NBA talent and how much Marquette fans helped your family, and that the best way for them to repay that as representatives of McDonald's would be to commit to Marquette.

Hope all goes well, Dish. I'm sure it'll go great!

Thanks for sharing! Please share more! Not self-promoting at all! Best of everything for your son!

Great news. Now I don't have to feel guilty when I eat my quarter pound cheese burger. They help to cure cancer.
