I didn't see this posted elsewhere, I apologize if I missed it. Scout has a new top 100 for the class of 2018. A few names MU is in on:
#15 Simi craptu (pretty sure we've moved on)
#18 Joey Hauser
#23 Quentin Grimes
#29 Ayo Dosunmu (pretty sure we've moved on)
#31 Jalen Smith (pretty sure we've moved on)
#67 Montez Mathis
#71 Race Thompson
#80 Khavon Moore (big drop for him)
#83 Tim Finke (pretty sure we've moved on)
#91 Noah Locke
Some others who are unranked:
Jeenathan Williams: 4 star, 32nd SF
Jarvis Thomas: 3 star, 24th PF
TJ Moss: 3 star, 28th PG
Torrence Watson: 3 star, 34th PG
-
FwIW, Moore split time b/w UAA & Nije leagues. His advanced stats in both were horrific

Jeenathan Williams is under rated . Would be great if we could get his commitment this summer .

He would be a very nice consolation prize if we don't get Joey Hauser and/or Quentin Grimes

Jeenathan = larger sized DJO.

Is "we've moved on" synonymous with "he cut us from his list"?

It means I haven't heard us mentioned with them in a while. I would imagine that most of them were cases of "we're still on the list, but I don't see us getting much traction, let's cut bait."

Jeenathan = larger sized DJO.
Are you sure? When I think of DJO I think of a lights out shooter who can also slash. What I've read about Jeenathan Williams is that he is a slasher who can sometimes shoot.

He is not sure.
Williams rarely shoots 3's

I'm pretty sure he was just referring to his neck. Maybe penile girth, but idk how close he is with the family.

Same jaw?

Half Empty, Half Full.

Mathis cut his list....MU no longer involved
With only 1 scholarship left I'm sure the focus is very narrow.... Joey, Grimes.....maybe 1 or 2 others

So he did. Just happened two days ago.

Not in MUFINY's world. Also, insert inside information about the family's deepest feelings

If Wojo doesn't sign all of these, he will have failed.

Jeenathan is working on expanding his shooting range. I am confident he will be successful in that regard.

And then next year, he must cut all of them in favor of higher rated recruits. Hey...that's just how the game's played if you want to be a top program.

He'll demotivate all of them and they'll transfer to ISU

or he'll overlook their Magic Johnson esque transcendent talent before they transfer to SLU

As successful as unprotected sex with drunk females?

Are we still legit in play for QG? And Joey is planning on announcing this summer right?
-
They have not stopped recruiting QG so they must feel still option.
Last told August timing for Joey, but that was 2 months ago (late April).

BD, thanks for the update. If you had to give your current %'s on each guy, what would they be?
I know with the nature of recruiting season, and things being quiet the last few months on the Joey Hauser front, it's easy to assume we've slid from where we were. But I think most on this board are still feeling good.
Second, in regards to Joey, do all of these concussions he's accumulated scare the staff or could be a cause for concern?
-
So Big Daddy, when do you change your name to Big Baby Kangeroo?
