BE seeding...
« on: February 24, 2007, 09:08:08 PM »
I'll take the optimists view of this loss...

I am going to assume a win next weekend - putting MU at 10-6. I am also going to assume that Syracuse losses to Georgetown, and @Villanova, which will give MU the 5 seed, setting up the following for MU...

St John's will almost assuredly be the 12 seed - Win

MU vs. (4) Notre Dame - Win

MU vs. (1) Georgetown - Win

MU vs. (3) Louiville - Win

A chance to exact revenge against 3 opponents on the way to a BE Championship. Who's with me?

Given Crean's record in conference tournament play I'd be pretty satisfied with beating St. John's on their home floor in that scenario.
