Almost impossibly, the course looks even easier today. Might take -22 or lower to win.

Sorry you don’t have my experience.

Or understand how to quote correctly.

It's okay to be nice sometimes, pal.  Pretty unnecessary.

I’m with you on EV and while I don’t have one, I’ll strongly consider the next time I’m in-market, probably next year.

Honestly, I’m not there yet (and may never be) on self-driving.  I don’t think I could relax enough to let the car do its thing and get the benefit of the tech, but realize that may be my own hang up.

If we can get to FSD on all cars we can completely redesign our infrastructure.  There would be no need for traffic lights or stop signs, etc.  That savings in traffic, insurance, and time would be absolutely incredible.

But I think that the last 10% that these guys are referring to is absolutely the hardest part.  If the makers of the systems were required to work together and not have to design around non FSD cars they'd probably have the problem solved already.

Agree with you on LaGuardia, but disagree on O'Hare, especially if you are actually departing from that airport and not just switching planes there.  Back when I lived in the Chicagoland area, I was 15 miles closer to O'Hare, but usually flew out of Midway because of the hassle factor.  From my driveway to the gate, it was much quicker to go to Midway.  One time I had a flight out of O'Hare that left around six in the morning.  I stayed the night before at the Hilton that is on property.  I walked over to the airport the next morning and TSA was slammed - at 4:45 a.m.

In my working days, I was shocked by the number of co-workers who refused to fly out of Midway because they hadn't flew out for there since the '80's and assumed nothing had changed.

Also my experience.  Connections at ORD are awful.

Wow.  You and I have both been on this board a long time, and I don't remember you being as mean-spirited as you have been recently.

If you are going through something, I hope for your own sake you are able to work through it soon.

Lil guy needs a hug. Hope he finds some help too.

Marquette used a search firm (the same firm) for its recent Men’s Soccer, Women’s Soccer, Women’s Basketball Coaching hires.

The Women’s Soccer team has yet to hire an Associate Head Coach/Top assistant coach after 4 months. They have hired a 2nd and 3rd assistant, one of which was very recent. (Typically more competitive programs have a HC, 3 assistants, and a soccer experienced ops director.

It’s often said that some AD’s have a short list of 3 to 5 HC candidates for every sport at all times, regularly updated.

Budget and compensation have been factors in MU’’s HC hires, as well as staff hires.

Looks like the MTE market is dying on the vine save the headliner events like Maui. Viewer interest just doesn’t make it worthwhile. May as well host your own, get a paying crowd, and deal with the smaller TV numbers.

Self driving cars in a Midwest snowstorm with the lines and sensors covered.    (Gary Cole in Office Space)  Yeahhh.

Of course, some people struggle with that scenario.

Global warming will take care of that

More great work guys.  The blogs and Ben Steele covering the program have been incredible the last decade.  Nice not having to rely on Dodds softball articles
