That was the first win for DePaul in the Big East tournament since 1992 according to Jerry Palm

Howard, Booth, Davis, 1992 DePaul played in the Great Midwest Conference. Good team though, 5 seed NCAA Tourney.

Those who waited for tickets might be getting a deal. Seeing Section 211 (dead center court, 6th row of section) for $145 with fees on Seat Geek. A lot better than anything I've seen last couple of days. Good job to the patient folks ;)

DePaul won in 2019, COVID year. My Blue Rat friends contend they won the BET that year since they had the last victory (before it got cancelled).

Not to be pedantic, but that was 2020. I think it was the only game played that year.

That was such a bizarre week.  White Plains had a big outbreak, the BET was starting, and then the world stopped.

Media is buzzing in DC area about Ewing, all speculating this is last game.  2-38 in BE last two years.

Would be ironic to see him and Boeheim go out the same week.

They smoked MU by 20 in opening round.  They had Pickett, Blair, and Harris then go nuclear from three point range in remaining games. They also had Wahab, who was a defensive stud for the BET.  They just got hot and won as I believe a 9 seed.

Wahab transferred to Maryland then back to Georgetown this year

Pickett transferred, Blair transferred and this year BET MVP Harris, right before season transferred to Virginia.

In 2009, DePaul beat Cincy in the 9-16 game in the Big East Tournament. DePaul was 0-18 in conference, so this was a decent upset.

Besides missing a few DePaul wins, Mr. Palm likely forgot DePaul didn't join the Big East until 2005-2006.  That was a hella run by George Milan pre-1992 in the Old, Old Big East however.

Me thinks Jerry has had too many lunches with Cheeks lately.

With their luggage behind the bench and scrambling to book a hotel for that night.

Any MU fans there? Looks like a great atmosphere for a Wednesday.

It was a fun game. I also think there’s a chance more MU fans are there tomorrow than St. John’s.

Does tomorrow count as a road game for quadrant purposes?

Only if it’s bulbous.

that was a wild unnatural carnal knowledgeing game

Was there. My ears are still ringing this morning- it was absolutely deafening in MSG. SH fans were ready to riot, but the call was correct. Met 6-7 40 ish DP fans three rows behind us. Happy for them.

MU now at (-7.5) for today's game on Fanduel.  Up two points from yesterday.
