Student Bus to DC
« on: March 25, 2013, 04:09:39 PM »
There's a collaborative effort to fill a bus with fanatics to head to DC for the weekend. If you are a student and on the fence, call in and request your tickets by 5.

There will be a busfor $75 roundtrip (comparable if not cheaper to carpooling for most vehicles). If you aren't staying with friends etc, a cheap hotel option is being explored.

Let's get make that arena loud!!!

They did this for the Final 4 back in 2003 and I believe we had like 7 busloads of students.

It was great!

Don't students have that extended Easter Break aka Spring Break II this week?

Exactly why the university is willing to help make this happen! We just gotta get the bus filled.

But the class comment believe was being made towards me working on this and posting it during class, as BagpippingBoxer watches me type....

I have a gf who's a fanatic but a uwm student, is this strictly for MU students?

I believe that is the idea of it, but I'll check. It might just depend on how full the bus(es) are.

...and how hot/easy she is.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Might be a longshot, but anyone know what section the student section is in?  I currently see some tickets for a bit more than the upper section in what looks like would be the student section (Sections 106 and 117) on stubhub but I obviously don't wanna be sitting with the wrong crowd.

Thanks

Thanks!

The answer I got was most likely not, since the cost is being subsidized by the student activity fee. You might be able to try and ask and request if there is any room available to let her go, but I'm not sure it can be guaranteed.

JD, is your GF willing to sleep with the MUSG Programming Vice President in order to get on the bus?

This is pretty sweet, but renting an RV and drinking all the way to New Orleans was way cooler.
