2) has been running on these boards for a couple weeks now, and I would hope 1) would simply be a effect of 2).

You hit the nail on the head.
I like Buzz. He has a lot to learn as an in-game coach and, over time, will have to become a bigger presence at the top h.s. if MU is to become a "great" program. I dont mind the fact that he brings in jucos....they are more physically mature and smarter basketball-wise than a true freshman but eventually a coach needs to develop what he has on the shelves. What I dont like about jucos is the fact that they are "here today and gone tomorrow." Buzz still has to prove that he can develop players instead of bringing in jucos that are well ahead of even the above average freshman. The BE is loaded with coaches that have the ability to develop kids over the course of 4 years. Example: Syracuse received a verbal commit from Julius Hodge. He backed out and Boeheim had to go after what was available at the SF/PF position. He ended up signing the 101st overall player in his class (according to Scout). His name.....Hakim Warrick. Boeheim turned the 101st overall kid in his h.s. class into a first round pick and a decent NBA player. HOF accolades make things like that happen (and I believe he blocked the shot at the buzzer of the 2003 championship). Im not saying Buzz will make that type of development right away....Im just saying that sometimes a great coach can turn water into wine and THAT is what makes FUTURE recruits want to join your program.

I agreed with you until you brought up Warrick. He had by far the worst basketball IQ on the Bucks this year. He relies completely on athleticism. Coaching has nothing to do with that.

We should go up 4 or 5 more spots when Buzz reveals that Tokoto is actually 18, took night classes and has already graduated from Menomonee Falls and is ready to start at Marquette in the Fall.

You are correct sir!
But, for pointing out my mistake; "May you sit in the middle seat on a cross country flight between two fleshy University of Wisconsin basketball fans."

Fleshy UW basketball fans is redundant.
