Must erase Woj

I’m not cheering for Cain.  He left.  All guys that leave Marquette that were recruited by Wojo unless they’re white (except Australians) are bad
Ramsey head thoroughly up his ass.

Jamal's ascent toward being on an opening-day NBA roster is a testament to his hard work, his potential, and another example of Wojo being clueless as a head coach.

In all honesty, I respect all of the players that transferred out while Wojo was coach.  I certainly respect the loyalty of those who stayed at MU under Wojo, yet you only get 4 years to play college ball and to play for a coach who was absolutely clueless?  Unfortunate.

There was a nice interview today with jimmy, and it cut to a background vid of Jimmy v Cain's 1 on 1. It went as expected

JFB taking Jamal under his wing

https://heatnation.com/media/jimmy-butlers-hilarious-jab-at-jamal-cain-after-an-aggressive-1-on-1-session/

High praise from JFB

“Without a doubt,” he said. “He’s been playing incredibly well right now. He’s trying to prove his worth in this league, which I think he’s an NBA player. He rebounds. He guards. He’s actually shooting the ball incredibly well right now, and he listens.

“I think that’s the biggest thing to do whenever you’re coming into a team with vets and even younger guys, you’ve got to be able to learn and play that role. He’s doing that greatly.”

From the Miami Herald:

Cain, who spent his first four years at Marquette University before finishing his college career at Oakland University, likened the Golden Eagles culture to that of the Heat. Grind it out, play as hard as you can and develop players, Cain said.

Sounds like he’s pretty grateful for the opportunity he got to develop into a good player at Marquette. I guess he didn’t get the memo that he was victimized by mind games.

jamal is in good hands there.  jimmy came in and thru uber hard work, became a dark horse superstud.  next up...i believe jamal has more natural talent and athleticism than jimmy ever had to begn with.

Glad that Jamaal is in right group - his life, in and out of basketball, will be better for that.

Aside from your misspelling of Jamal, which I assume happened due to autocorrect, we agree.

Ah ... that explains why Jamal ran away from Shaka then.

Also, how do you know about the status of Wojo's genitalia?

Anyway, congrats to Jamal. He played hard for Marquette.

I suspect Jamal wanted to have a featured role, after being under-utilized while at MU under Wojo.  Shaka of course is trying to build a team-centered culture and likely didn't offer Jamal a featured role (particularly when his play under Wojo was so choppy and unpredictable.)  That aside, Jamal would have been a great asset to last year's MU team, so it was unfortunate Shaka didn't/couldn't retain him.

I agree with this take, that Jamal would have been an asset last season and that his leaving had nothing to do with Doc Dribble's intimate knowledge of the previous coach's genitalia.
