is it just me or is wes matthews the only player who shows up every game. He may not have the smooth jump shot or the penetration ability, but you know exactly what your getting from him; toughness, hustle, energy, consistency, and tonight he gave us that and  bit extra with back- to back- to back threes to put the game away. Although Lazar has been huge for us most of the year, matthews always brings it every night. If only the rest of our team could follow his lead...

agreed, he's this team's metronome.  He's consistent night in and night out and is almost good for his averages. I'm very glad to see he was able to step it up tonight and hit some key shots down the stretch.

I think Wes was huge tonight.  I usually do not like Wes taking the long shots, but he seemed to be on tonight, and he was huge when closing the game.  Also, he can help crash the boards on D which we definitely need more of.

yeah i agree on the consistency, but before the last three games he was consistently bad on the court. thank goodness hes turned it around this team needs it now the most, however like burke earlier in the year i wanna see a few more games before i get excited. and yes i compared him to burke because hes still at this point in the season producing less than expected- season high is 16pts.....dont yell at me i like the guy, i just cant help but keep my fingers crossed that he hits shots like this again

It seems that Wes was always seen as the "last" of the big three.  Freshman year was all James, last year it was Jarel,  Maybe now its his turn to be the star.  His confidence has been up the last few games.  I have a feeling that both he and Lazar are going to be the two most important people on this team going down the stretch.
