Said no one ever, but let's not forget the kid also knows the rules about transferring before he signed the line which is dotted.

Instead the kid could always have gone to the NBA's minor league.  Oh wait, there isn't one until you are 19, they use the NCAA until then.  BTW, a contract is supposed to the memorandum of agreement negotiated between two parties.  How many changes do you think get negotiated at the request of student athletes before they sign?  that's right, none.  Because the contents of that "contract" are dictated by a monopoly of all the schools that offer it.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?
