Vols lose again
« on: December 21, 2010, 09:19:41 PM »
Tennessee lost 64-65 against the USC Trojans tonight in a game where Maymon was a non factor. Where do you think Tennessee will be when the season ends? Losses to three mediocre teams in a row, Tim Maymon is formulating an argument now on why JMay should be the starting PG.

And Presbyterian beat Wake Forest.

Parity and betting nightmares are definitely going to strike the Tourney this year...

Maybe my bracket can be obliterated even earlier this year. Not sure if that is possible, but we'll see. There are going to be A LOT of bubble teams this year. I hope to God we play the BEast tough or we simply will not make it into the tourney.

Good for KO'N.  Wish him the best and a long run at USC and more importantly some form of peace while hoping he stays completely pissed off and bitter.

USC only lost by 2 at Kansas Saturday. Kevin O'Neil has them playing well.

Has maymon moved up to starting PG yet?
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.

It's funny - the Tennessee boards are begging for anyone to step in and perform at the guard spots.  I thought Timmy said JMay was recruited to Tenn to play the 2G spot.  Shocker that he's actually the backup PF...

I gather no glee from reading these things about Maymon.  What I saw was a true Frosh developing nicely at the PF slot.  Because of his dad he is gone.  He would look pretty good right now playing for us.  Passing out to DJO and inside with Gardner.  Plus we could really use his rebounding.  I think he could have developed into a hybrid poormans Charles Barkley by his senior year.  I understand it was his own doing(kinda)  but I wish it would have worked out.

If Maymon hadn't left, Buzz may not have gone after and gotten DG.  Who knows?  Time to dwell on the our current roster at present and look to the future with the players we've got.
