Title: Everyone can relax, players tried to shake hands
Post by: 🏀 on December 19, 2012, 09:30:24 PM
#mubb did attempt to shake hands with GB. Phoenix players were celebrating their well-earned win, so MU left court.

The last few #mubb players did congratulate GB players at midcourt.

Apparently you missed the many posts and tweets about MU walking off the court not shaking hands.

I didn't miss them...I guess I just don't see why people would get their undies in a bunch over something so trivial.

Maybe Van refused to high five them.

Maybe he tried, but just wasn't able to finish.

Twittersphere saying Buzz didn't come back to shake hands?  I get that UWGB was celebrating but, c'mon Buzz, at least shake hands with Wardle.

I would argue that UWGB was wrong here. You shake hands and then get together as a team to celebrate. Marquette players do not have to sit around and wait for them.

Well, at least the fans didn't rush the court.

They made a huge deal of this on WSSP this morning. Didn't care enough to change it or call and correct them.

Stop listening to WSSP.

Always good policy.

Honestly, if I'm MU I cut them out completely. Their on-air hosts do nothing but take shots at the program. No reason to give them access.
