WiFi Blu-Ray DVD?
« on: November 27, 2010, 01:50:30 PM »
I have been doing a little research and if anyone has the time for a quick recommendation it would be appreciated.  I have been looking and wondering if getting a 3D ready player now is worth it without having a 3D TV  and buying one now for future use?  Any comments on using it for Netflix, etc. as far as jumpy/jerky downloads?

Again looking for one and have been reading on-line reviews and they seem to be all over the place as far as satisfaction/setup/playing of netflix.

Thanks in advance.

I've used two wifi ready blue ray devices a samsung and a sony. In all honesty they are both pretty similar. Make sure you get one with wifi built in. The netflix quality on both is about the same, which is not all that great. Both players I have can also access pandora internet radio which is actually pretty sweet and sounds great coming out of my surround sound. Dont know anything about the 3d ready capabilities but with anything the technology usually starts off crummy and gets better over time.
