Take out burton. He missed a defensive assignment on the last possession. Need Steve back out there. (Teal hard on phone) what is buzzs justification for that one ?

This team would be lucky to win a game in the NIT
Could be.... Could also lose to Western Michigan

Not disagreeing about Burton.

As for your suggested PG, I won't comment.

Please do comment and tell me what Derrick has done today that is helping this team?  Collected 6 rebounds that landed in his lap?

Buzz was locked in to that lineup even though we need points desperately. Juan and Derrick are NOT in any way Division I, II or III threats to score. And I guess JJJ has already told Buzz he's out of here. Can't blame him.

I would like to thank whoever that was that has the gif of Jake Thomas as Jake The Snake Roberts.  Every time I see him now, I see him with flowing hair, shirtless, and a snake around his shoulders!

no problem

Anyone know what happened with this kid?

Seemed promising in this lost season/year.

"He's a good player," coach Buzz Williams said. "He was the best freshman in boot camp because he didn't act like a freshman."

Johnson might be counted on to replace some of the scoring punch lost from last season with the departures of Vander Blue, Trent Lockett and Junior Cadougan.

"We need him to play well," Williams said. "We are at our thinnest at that position."

This is not a defensive team. We should stop trying and bench Juan Anderson for Burton for the remainder of the year.

FWIW, I've seen Johnson, on the bench, be the first person up on TV after timeouts and hustle plays cheering on his teammates.

Bottom line on this year is college hoops is a guards game and no matter how much coaching Buzz does/did, these guards don't have a ton of upside. Mix in the inconsistency from Jake and Jamil and there no oft out there making the guards look better.  Not Buzz best job, but c'mon guys. The guy didn't forget how to coach.

Game over-30 points scored, can't show up for a must win game, gotta blame coaches and players. This team
lacks the heart of recent warrior teams

We needed to win 3 of the last 4.  We win the last two and our first in the BET and we're fine.

People on this board need to chill the F out.  We look like ass but we still have plenty of ball to play.

Buzz doesn't like players that can create their own shot.

He hasn't "earned it", aka our staff is unable to develop a top 40 player to crack the rotation of a very flawed team by the end of the season and wants to put the blame on the player.

You aren't worth the time arguing with.  Derrick does something bad, you interpret it as "Derrick sucks."  Derrick does something good, you interpret it as "Derrick was lucky."

Your mind was made up before he stepped on the court this season.

Burton should only sit if he fouls out. Jake should only play if everyone else fouls out.

What have you see today that makes you believe this team is capable of anything you just mentioned?
