Whose idea was this, did they not realize the students would use them as flying projectiles?  They take away our bottle caps when we buy water and then they give us glowsticks? This makes no sense.  Also I was disappointed at the end of the game when the students were throwing the glowsticks at the officials next to the tunnel.  It made us look very classless.

Yeah marquette09.  I completely agree with you.  It was 15th and Kil and i know Ousmane Barro that I was talking about.  Looks like his post got removed.  Sorry for the confusion!

While the glowsticks did look cool, I am guessing they will not return any time soon.  I think they had faith that the students would act like adults but I guess not everyone can.

With all due respect, the refs needed to be hit with projectiles larger than glow sticks ;)
