The best thing about Newark is the collection of Spanish restaurants just down the road from the Rock. I like Forno's but the Tavern is excellent, too.

Who knew there even was a "best thing about Newark"?

People that didn't know any better may very well say the same about Milwaukee.

Milwaukee at least gets credit for beer and brats.

Not sure Newark has anything that even comes close.

But, but, but you can't beat a Milwaukee summer! That's all anybody from here says! Yeah, okay, enjoy the 2 1/2 months it gets nice at the beautiful Bradford Beach while people in Southern California are enjoying 75 and sunny 362 days a year and 70 and rainy the other 3. Oh and their beaches are **slightly** nicer. But you can't beat Milwaukee in the summer baby!

I do miss the "tieup parties" and swimming in the lakes, I'll say that

How about the nonstop string of music fests that are crazy awesome? Milwaukee's more than Bradford in the summer come on.

Milwaukee in the summer is my favorite place to be for this very reason. Summerfest, Irishfest, Bastille Day, so much fun.

All that yes, but the rules for summer have been redefined, and the Good Land is now the indisputable Sultan of Summer* for Milwaukee has (or is about to have) something for which a summer in any red-blooded American city cannot truly be summer without: a mobile beer garden.

It's like an ice cream truck for adults.  (Adults who don't run with dollar bills in hand when ice cream trucks come calling, at least.)

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Tucker: I don't think I've seen a girl that mean before. Are you sure she's a chick? And not a guy? Or like, part guy part shark?

Church: She got recruited into some kind of weird experimental program back during basic where they infused her Nimrod hoodie with this really aggressive A.I. I'm not really sure how it all works, but all I know is it made her meaner and tougher than hell.

Never thought I would see a Red vs. Blue reference on here

A discussion on Milwaukee seems somewhat appropriate for this.  I rode an elevator last week where someone hung up inside as an obvious joke a USA map labeled (along the lines of) "British Person responses to various areas of the United States".

Many areas received "Know nothing about."  However, Wisconsin was labeled as "Cheese."  Texas as "Guns" and "Oil".  Boston area "Fake Irish".  Southern New England as "Privileged White People".
