The sad thing is that this was the MU administration's perfect chance to being mending fences with discouraged fans. Unless Buzz brings home a BE title, a deep run in the NCAA tourney or something of the sorts (especially given that he has 4 great players on the court), it's going to get harder and harder for Marquette's administration to gain ANY trust from sports boosters.

At least they've done great things academically?

I want to be the first to tell Buzz Williams to buzz off. To big of a gamble. Funny thing is I bet this guy would take the job for $250K. We did not need Dick Strong to authorize this hire. Soda revenue at the girls games to pay this stiff.

If Buzz is our head cowboy, it's time to circle the wagons and fight like a team. If he's our guy, then there is no good in not supporting him and the team and potential recruits who are looking for uniformity.

If he's the guy, it's time to unite. WE are Marquette. And, that includes Buzz.
