Unfortunately they will be well motivated Tues. if Temple pulls off the upset.

...or their confidence will be shaken and we can jump on them early and snuff them out.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Or do what Temple did and use it to beat them in TN.

Tennessee is a decent team, but nothing special.

Some good signs: Tennessee allowed Temple to shoot 55% from the field and allowed 88 points. We may have a chance to do some their damage there.

Was one of the Tenn players hurt in the game? Caught something about x-rays at the end of the game.

Undoubtedly, temple used a zone defense  Temple has some good athletes(christmas) and a great coach that was able to make Ivy League Penn a competitive team.

I am not sure, Tenn may be missing their senior backcourt from last year. I think Chicos better start rethinking his position in case MU pummels Tenn.

We will soon find out firsthand hand how "decent" they are.

Tenn is super good - maybe the best team in the south!  If we beat them....

Let's hope MU can...

have someone hit 7 of 14 from 3pt like Christmas...

hit 18 of 24 FTs...

outrebound TN by at least 5...

have someone block at least 5 of TN's shots...

hit 55% from the field AND...

hold TN to 37% shooting.

That's a tall order against a p.o.'d TN team.

I hope MU's up to it!

We definitely have 4 very talented players that are capable of putting up those numbers.

The good news is that we don't have to match what Temple did--a 1 point win will count just as much as a 15 point victory.

They were missing arguably their second best player for the entire game.  Prince did not play and that hurt them.  If he doesn't play Tuesday, that will help MU.  He is a nice player for them.

Does this mean that if MU beats Tenn without Prince, we will hear more excuses?

More importantly, will Tenn fall from 14 to "26" in the polls after loosing by more than 15 to an unranked team?

Tom Coughlin tells his Giants to always "practice like they lost the last game".   Tennessee is going to be ultra focused coming in on tuesday we better be.

 ::)

If MU beats UT then they deserve the victory and all it's benefits.  I didn't realize I was making any excuses for other wins.  Or is it because I stated the obvious, that UW-Madison isn't quite as good at UW-Madison of the past that you're taking that as an excuse?
