Busy Weekend at the Al.
« on: October 28, 2021, 12:47:07 PM »
-Marquette University women's volleyball team hosts No. 24 Creighton on Friday evening in a showdown between the BIG EAST Conference's top two teams.

-Marquette also hosts Providence on Saturday at 6 p.m. CT. That match will air live on the YouTube channel of the Marquette Wire, the University's student-run media organization.

On Sunday, Oct. 31, the Marquette Men's Basketball team hosts Haunted Hoops at the Al McGuire Center, with doors opening at 9 a.m. and a scrimmage at 10 a.m.  The event is free and open to all and families are encouraged to attend.

Highlights include:
Trick or treating with the Marquette Men's basketball team & other student-athletes
Costume contest at center court during halftime of scrimmage. Prizes awarded to best costume!
Other fun activities such as photo booths, balloon artists, and our very own Marquette caricature artist!
Breakfast concessions will be open and a lot of other great activities to enjoy with the entire family
Complimentary parking available in the Wells street structure (1240 W. Wells St)

Am I the only person who is surprised that we have "our very own Marquette caricature artist"? Why has this not been on Scoop before?

Scholl told Wojo he needed an experienced caricature artist on the bench. Wojo dug in his heels and said "at Duke we had mimes on Coach K's bench". Thus, you know the back story.
