Thanks for providing that handy-dandy list, TAMU.
I like Horford because at least I've seen him -- and he has the size we desperately need -- but it would be difficult to pass on a player named Nimrod!!

Horford is nothing great, but he would give us more next year than Satchel.

Looks like we are in the Matt Carlino derby as he is considering us per ESPN's Jeff Goodman. It has us listed along with Purdue, St. Joes, Providence and Memphis.
FYI, when you click on the link, it is a very extensive transfer list.

Nothing like a Matt Carlino shooting 38.5% from the field. Throw him and Derrick Wilson at the guard spots and we'll never score. I can see the name in lights right now.. Clank-ino.
It's sad when we're going for a SG and have more immediate needs up front. Apparently, John Dawson isn't ready to backup Mayo.

Wow, guy lists MU on an ESPN post and two sentences later you have Duane Wilson as a bust even though he has yet to log a minute for MU.
Also, you're right he is not ready to backup Mayo. Duane is a PG and Mayo is a SG.
Dumb dumb post

I replaced Duane Wilson with John Dawson. My bad! Nonetheless, I didn't throw anyone under the bus. It only makes sense that if we're looking for a SG, that Dawson isn't ready to take the reigns. How is that throwing someone under the bus?

You may have noticed that Matt Carlino averaged 4.3 apg last season. He's a PG not a SG. And he shot 33.9% from 3. He would be a definite improvement over Derrick.
Getting Carlino may not be necessary, if Duane Wilson or John Dawson is ready to light the world on fire, then I'm game. But I can think of a lot worse things than picking up a trigger happy PG with "high" major experience who also plays pretty stellar d.

It's hard to tell how good Nimrod is. Lamar is a pretty terrible team. It's like a 6 looking like a 10 because she is surrounded by 2s. A crude be effective comparison.
But if we wanted Nimrod, he is originally from Madison. Maybe he wants to come home.
COME HOME NIMROD!!!
-
How come there are so many 1's and 0's in their averages :-\
Because the pool is pretty shallow this year. You either have to take a star from a bad team and hope it translates to the BEast, or take a scrub from a good team and hope his coach was holding him back.
-
MJ Rhett with over 9 rpg. Wow, that would be nice to get next year with Fischer out until 2nd Semester, but it looks like he's only considering Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Tulane, USC, Miami, and UConn.

Dawson is a PG too, not a SG.
Mayo backup at SG will be JJJ

I'll need to look into it. He wasn't mentioned in the source I use
-
How come there are so many 1's and 0's in their averages :-\
I guess if JJJ, Taylor and/or Dawson had decided to transfer and were put on a list like this, folks from other parts of the country who didn't know anything about us would wonder about all those Marquette guys with 1's and 0's in their averages.
-
Wesley averaged almost 20 for a Pac-12 team, granted it was a bad team, but it wasn't against bad competition. He was suspended at the end of the year though, so that is a bit concerning.
I remembered Ian Chiles from IUPUI filling it up, but he averaged only 1.5 assists last year, not what we need.
-
Have any shown even a remote interest in Marquette?
-
Horford and Kyle Davis would help the front line with size. Davis' rebounding stats are good. But don't
know much about him. Still need a shooting guard. But JJJ is my man.
-
Let's go for the big kid from San Diego State. We can sell him on Wisconsin women.
-
Etherington.
Just to bug Crean.
-

True, but this list is of matriculated student athletes that are presumably juniors with one year of eligibility left, not freshmen or sophomores riding the pine because their coach is missing the 7 of clubs and the Jack of spades.
-
We need to focus on big men and guys who are compatible with the team.
-
How come there are so many 1's and 0's in their averages :-\
because it is not their grade point average.
-
OP updated. With Byron Wesley's announcement, he becomes the most desirable transfer on the market. Kid can flat out score.
MJ Rhett will be taking his rebounding prowess to Ole Miss. Definitely could have used his size and skill set.
Austin Etherington is heading to Butler. Let's hope for the Bulldogs sake that Tan Tommy was just failing to utilize him properly.
-
Bump. Let's watch the candidates dwindle.
Two transfers from the same Big Ten team to the Big East in the same year. My story: its because of the coach at aforementioned Big Ten school, not the current situation in the Big East.
OMG, there's a guy from Grambling on the list.
-
TAMU, have you checked this list to make sure that these would actually be graduate transfers?
Nimrod Hilliard for instance just finished his junior year, but he has been at three schools in three years. (South Dakota, Jacksonville (JC) and Lamar.) It wouldn't be impossible for him to have graduated under such circumstances, but it would be very difficult.
But I agree that a graduate transfer with some size, if only to fill up the lane on defense for the fall, wouldn't be a bad idea by any respect.
-
TaShawn Thomas and Danuel House are transferring out of Houston with restrictions. They're appealing the restrictions plus asking to be eligible for next season. Thomas has good size and great numbers. Would be a great fit if they win their appeal for next year.

Yes, I have only listed players who should be eligible next season. However, I rely on journalists to be accurate. There could be some mistakes.

I saw those, I wanted to wait to list them until it was clearer what those restrictions will be.

OP updated. Added Mississippi Valley State Sharpshooter Anthony McDonald.
-
I'm hearing whispers that LeBron James could be on the free agent market this offseason...
-
OP updated. Taran Brown (UC Santa Barbara) and Dwight Tarwater (Cornell). Both are stretch forwards that have good size and decent three point shooting...albeit against very low levels of competition.

And to think, Wojo was the recruiter (with Coach K) for Jahil Okafor and Looney! He also teamed with Capel and K for Tyus Jones.

Pic 2 of 4----The Houston Transfers---Danuel House, TaShawn Thomas if restrictions are dropped.
Byron Wesley sounds like the best of all, even though he's 6-5. Read about him. Good report.
Still like Josh Cunningham 6-7 FR. If Du. Wilson is a 2G, then Go after Carlino. Had enough of Derrick.

OP updated. SDSU reserve big man James Johnson committed to Liberty yesterday. If that's the best offer he got, probably a good thing we didn't get him.
-
OP updated. Matt Carlino, #2 on this list, just became a Warrior. Clearly Wojo is reading my posts.
In addition to Carlino coming off the board, Yale big man Jeremiah Kriesberg found his new home at Northwestern.
Three new names have been added to get us to an even 20. North Carolina A&T's Richaud Pack is a three point machine. Scored 17 points a game on 38% 3P shooting.
Ricky Kreklow was the top bench player for Montgomery's Golden Bears. Decent size and shoots 33% from three.
Barely making the list at #20 is UCLA scrub Sooren Derboghosian. The 6-10 Iranian never saw much floor with the Bruins, but he has the size and is better than an empty seat.
Given the Carlino gives us 4 committed PGs, the list has been reordered to reflect our need for size.
-

The only downside I see to the Carlino commitment is that we won't have a guy named Nimrod next season.

I'm guessing Carlino has been called a nimrod at least once in his life.

Wojo was not the lead recruiter for Looney, but. They certainly know each other.

But we already have a log jam at guard spots. Pass.

Would be great to get LOONEY. I wonder if they had any contact since Wojo was named as coach.

I know. It was K, Capel (I believe) and Wojo who were a team. Lead was probably Capel or K.

Agree. We'll only have 2 freshmen next season, so adding another to that class -- especially one at a position of need -- is a no-brainer.

Pretty much Mikey.

He has signed with UCLA, and ya know since UCLA hasn't had a coaching change its kinda unlikely that either he wants to change his mind or that UCLA would have any inclination to let him out of his LOI.

He'd be awesome, but first time out he didn't look at any schools north of the Mason-Dixon line, so I guess I'd be really impressed if Wojo reeled him in.

OP updated. Lost two and gained two. Washington big man Desmond Simmons is heading to St. Mary's. Former WI Mr. Basketball Nimrod Hilliard IV is joining up with Jamal Ferguson at North Carolina Central.
After speaking with friends in the Houston athletic department, I believe there is a decent chance that both Thomas and House will be approved to play immediately. Thomas is a force on the inside, averaging nearly a double double last season in addition to nearly 3 bpg. House is Jamil Wilson esque with a more confident shot.
I got to see a couple of Houston games in person this season. Either would be a fantastic pick up.

Thanks for the effort TAMU--much appreciated.

At this point, not great. My friends in Houston hadn't heard anything about CoWojo contacting them. But I think if Wojo was so inclined, we could be a major player. Either (or both) would be a huge get.

Wistfully, I've got to think that if Buzz was still here, we'd have a decent shot. But, he's not and that's all for the best, so....
BTW, TAMU, from your spot in the great state of Texas, what have you heard as the reason why Houston would dump a coach who brought in such great recruits?
-
BTW, TAMU, from your spot in the great state of Texas, what have you heard as the reason why Houston would dump a coach who brought in such great recruits?
Dickey was a great recruiter but a horrible in game coach. In his four seasons he finished twice about .500 and one of those was 16-15. He wasn't the greatest developer either. House and Thomas are talents but haven't really improved under his tutelage. And Danrad Knowles, his third top 100 recruit has been average at best. Gotta have the results to go with the recruits.
The culture at Houston is interesting. The administration has a serious case of little sister syndrome...to everybody. They like to think that they should be considered with the likes of TAMU, UT, Baylor, Rice, and Tech. They still remember the days of Phi Slamma Jama and expect to return to those levels. The students however, do not care. Almost no sense of school pride at Houston.
I don't think SMU's return to basketball relevance doesn't help. The mustangs bring in a top coach with questionable recruiting methods and look what happens. Houston is hoping that Sampson will be their Larry Brown.
-
If he stays out of trouble, Sampson has proven himself to be a good coach. I think that works well for them.

Looks like a real nice player, seemed to really improve his stats significantly over the two years, including knocking down a solid clip from 3! Could be a very nice piece for next year!
-
I think he would be a great get for next year's team. He doesn't consider himself a center but anyone with height that can play would be a nice addition. A 6'9" player who can take his defender outside and hit a 3 could add a new dimension to the offense.

Exciting news about Darius Leonard. He's currently in the top 5 of available graduate transfers. It's hard to tell how good he would be. 10.2 and 4.9 is a pretty good average but he played on a godawful team. Campbell was 318 in RPI and 328 in KenPom last season. And they played in the Big South, not exactly a hotbed of quality competition. However, someone who is 6"9 and shoots 38% from 3 will always find a role on team.
If we added him, we have the potential to run a Creighton like offense. Imagine Carlino, Mayo, Johnson, Taylor/Burton, and Campbell on the floor together. Every one of those players has the ability to shoot 35% or better from three. Could create some horrendous mismatches for opponents.
I'm not optimistic that we land him. Sounds like Wake is really where he wants to go. But if he values playing time and quality of team over being close to home, we might be able to reel him in. Another issue, he sees himself as a SF or PF. He only wants to play "short stints at center." For us he would be a center, for Wake he would be forward. Wake has 2 scholies open if anyone was curious.
-

17 points/9 boards against NC State and 16/6 on 7 of 10 shooting agianst Cincy from Campbell's non-conference slate last year suggests he's capable of playing at our level.
-
OP updated. We lost three candidates and gained one, putting us at 15 left on this list. Ian Chiles, who you may remember performing quite impressively against Marquette last season is transferring from IUPUI to Tennessee. I hear he wouldn't have committed had Cuonzo stayed. Two of the last names on the list, Malik Thomas and Jeylani Dublin are transferring to Norfolk State and Iona respectively. If that's where they landed, they probably wouldn't have had much impact at MU.
Gerald Coleman announced two days ago that he would be leaving Gonzaga. You may remember Coleman. He started for Providence his freshman and sophomore year and put up impressive numbers (13.2 ppg and 5.0 rpg as a sophomore). His time out west did not agree with him. After sitting out a year, he only averaged 6 points in 11 minutes of action per game. What's worse, he only made 1 of 8 3Ps. I put him on the list because he has already played at the BEast level and proved that he can score. But MU needs another guard that can't shoot like I need another hole in the head.
There are 15 graduate transfers left that I would consider talented enough to compete for the Warriors. They can be divided into three tiers. For me 1-4 are guys would definitely be starting. 5-8 are guys who would definitely get minutes and compete for starting jobs. 9-15 would probably be role players at best. At worst they would be warm bodies to fill up the practice squad.
The only player on this list that I know for sure that Wojo is talking to is #5 Darius Leonard. I hope he is looking at those top 4 as well because getting one of them could take us from being a bubble team to an NCAA lock. Personally, I would like to grab one more graduate transfer and use the last schollie on an impact regular transfer, preferably a guy who would end up in Steve's class to balance it out a bit.
-
OP updated. One of the top bigs remaining is coming off the board. Kyle Davis is making the short trip from Logan, Utah to Provo and joining up with the BYU Cougars.

Don't know if this has been posted yet, but just saw on ESPN that Byron Wesley is headed to Gonzaga. Not sure if we were pursuing him but sure would have been a nice filler at shooting guard for a year.

And boom goes the dynamite. The top two free agents come off the board. Tashawn Thomas is heading to Oklahoma and Byron Wesley is heading to Gonzaga. Props to the love house for catching it first.
The new number one is tashawns teammate, Danuel house. I've heard nothing to suggest we are interested. The new number two, Darius Leonard, has visited campus. But I think he ends up a demon deacon. After that, we are looking at players we don't need or players that aren't very good. Let's hope wojo can get Mr. Leonard or can find another way to fill those two scholies.

Ricky Kreklow to Creighton as a WALK-ON over scholarship offers from some high majors.

Thanks for the tip, I can confrim. Wow, hope the kid has money somewhere. Creighton is expensive!
-
OP updated. And then there were 10. Ricky Kreklow is heading to Creighton. At least he's staying in the family. In a continuing of recruiting players with conduct issues, Bruce Pearl has convinced New Mexico State point guard KC Ross-Miller to bring his services to Auburn.
-
Marquette should invite him for an official visit but make him get to Milwaukee on a Greyhound
I'm sure he expects nothing less. I wonder if MU can get him the same room he had last November at the Motel 6.
-
OP Updated. I found out that Danuel House was on A&M's campus today. Got to meet him. Seemed like a nice kid. He was asked about his list for schools and they are all regionally based in the Texas/Louisiana area.
This conversation led to another where Richaud Pack was mentioned. A&M is trying to get him to visit before making his decision. It is down to TAMU, Maryland, and TCU. No Marquette.
Finally, Darius Leonard announced his final list today. To the gall of everyone on scoop, VT was on the list but Marquette was not. I would imagine his earlier comments about "not wanting to have to play center all the time" had something to do with it. All his final choices are in the southeast region as well.
That takes the top three left off the board. Pickings are starting to get really slim. I'm thinking that we will only have 11 players available for next season unless we decide to take a flier on one of the few HS players left in the 2014 class.
Wojo could still use those scholarships for normal transfers. Some very good talent left on the transfer list. Carter Jr. from Georgia Tech would be a monster get.

When I look at the returning Big East lineups it doesn't seem like our lack of size will really be that big a factor. What do you think?
-
OP Updated. No one comes off the list but we do have two additions. First is Niagara phenom Antonie Mason. Mason was the 2nd leading scorer in D1 scoring (right between Dougie McBuckets and TJ Warren) last season with a whopping 25.6 ppg. He has decided to leave the midmajors to try and play with the big boys. This kid will probably be on an NBA roster after next season. Even if we are stacked at guard, we should be interested.
Next addition is Deville Smith. Smith ran the point for UNLV last season. Undersized but nailed almost 2 three pointers a game for the Rebels. After last year's anemic 3 point shooting, we can use all the help we can get.

Antoine Mason has big time numbers but if you look closely, he's a HIGH volume shooter. His shooting percentages are atrocious, 44% from 2, 29% from 3. At 6'3, he's a slasher who can't shoot. Sounds like a good fit for St. John's IMO.

Motel 6? They upgraded from the youth hostel on Wells?

Thank you for the kindness in calling him a fit for St. John's over another Big East team not known for its shooting prowess...

Interesting question. I would argue lack of size is always an issue, but the Big East is not known for it's dominate centers. Here is a look at each teams likely starting and what they did last season.
Xavier: Matt Stainbrook, 6"10 275 SR, 10.6 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 2.2 apg, 0.9 bpg
Butler: Kameron Woods, 6"9 200 SR, 7.5 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.0 bpg
Villanova: Daniel Ochefu, 6"10 230 JR, 5.7 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 1.4 apg, 1.5 bpg
Depaul: Tommy Hamilton, 6"10 280 SO, 7.7 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 0.5 apg, 0.6 bpg
Seton Hall: Patrick Auda 6"9 225 SR, 9.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg 1.5 apg, 0.4 bpg
Georgetown: Mikael Hopkins, 6"9 223 SR, 6.0 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 1.0 apg, 1.5 bpg
St. John's: Chris Obekpa, 6"9 215 JR, 3.8 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 0.8 apg, 2.9 bpg
Providence: Carson Desrosiers, 7"0 250 SR, 3.5 ppg, 4.8 rpg, 0.6 apg, 2.4 bpg
Creighton: Will Artino, 6"11 230 SR, 5.5 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 0.2 apg, 0.3 bpg
Marquette: Luke Fischer, 6"11 215 SO, 2.8 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 0.3 apg, 0.8 bpg
So these numbers show that Center is usually not the dominate position in Big East Basketball. So maybe size isn't as important. However, despite these low numbers, Fischer still has the lowest numbers of any of them. Now I know he was injured, buried on the bench, and transferred midseason, but it is still concerning. Luke also has good height, but is also lighter than every player on that list except for Woods and Obekpa. It is a reality that our frontcourt will be an undersized question mark going into next season.
Do I think that our frontcourt could surprise us? Absolutely, but it is more prudent to temper expectations. Can we win despite this? Without question. We need to embrace our size and run a run and gun offense that forces turnovers and slashes to the bucket. We should see three guards on the floor at all times and four guards on the floor some of the time.

Yeah, TAMU I get the impression that too many people here are saying "we need to weather the storm until Fischer gets here." Fischer is very likely not going to be the entire answer. He is coming off playing about a dozen games at IU, which didn't include any B10 conference games. Truth be told, we have no idea how good he is going to be.

And, it will take time to acclimated himself to game conditions and to mesh with the others after missing those first 9 or 10 non-conference games. Could happen quickly, but you never know.

Fisher will not be the answer next year, but I see him as a solid started, 10 points-6 rebounds as a junior and a little better as a senior. But need a back-up like Heldt to get some size,
and definitely need a power forward, rebounder as well.

My expectations are that he will be a better rebounder, scorer and defender than Otule. I do not expect him to be an all-american, but will probalby be the most rounded center we have had in a long time. Of course he may end up playing the four, but a combination of Taylor and Fischer at center may be better than Ox/Otule. They will not be able to score like the Ox, but they should better rebounders and defenders than the last duo.

Well, I think you are making my point. When all is said and done, Fischer may end up being "a better rebounder, scorer and defender than Otule." I just doubt he will come in and be all of those in December.

I sure hope Fischer comes in as a better rebounder than Chris...Chris was really poor as a rebounder, given his size...then again...can't imagine playing high major basketball with one eye as well. Chris was a fundamentally sound big guy - good at eating space, sealing the lane, and defending the basket. Anything beyond that was gravy in a game..in the way of scoring/rebounding.
-
Robert Carter has just picked Maryland, so we can scratch him off this list. He would have been an awesome big to land. Oh well, the beat goes on!

Well Carter Jr. was a regular transfer, not a graduate transfer. So he doesn't come off this list. But missing out on his services is unfortunate. He will have great success at Maryland.
Interesting bit of information on the graduate transfer front. It doesn't effect our list, but former Xavier standout Justin Martin has decided to take his services to SMU. Guess he listened to Buzz' comments and realized how terrible the BEast must be
-
OP updated.
At this point, I think it is pretty clear that Wojo is not looking at any graduate transfers. So I think this may be my last update. It's more for curiosity than anything else.
1. Former #1 on this list, Danuel House of Houston ended up picking Texas A&M so...whoop for my boss' boss' boss.
2. Current #1 Antonie Mason, the Niagara scoring machine, became Bruce Pearl's best pickup since joining the Auburn staff.
3. Chandler Thomas, star player from that shining example of a program Grambling State, is heading to Ohio where he should be a solid contributor.
Looking at the free agents who are left, most would probably end up being warm bodies if they came to Marquette. Taran Brown from UC Santa Barbara is a solid player and could probably get some minutes...but other than that...pickings are slim. Let's hope Wojo can pick up a solid transfer or two for the 15-16 campaign.
-
TAMU--completely understand the 'warm bodies' statement........however, wouldn't a warm practice body be welcome for THiS year? We need 2 warm bodies this summer and then they are gone.?
-

I agree but judging by recent interviews, it sounds like Wojo is not interested in adding someone just for the sake of adding somebody. I would also say it is rare for graduate transfers to make the move just to be a benchwarmer.
-

We don't need practice bodies unless they are big bodies, and those dudes are gone. Also, what TAMU said about not transferring for their final year to sit.
-
Understand--easy to say in June. If Luke goes down to injury, we would be thrilled if Garrett Swanson was warming the bench.

*You* might be. I would not be. (Not that he had a choice to be here anyway.)
-
Garrett Swanson was an example of a warm body--that is all a warm body.

I think that's a lot of those "preferred walk ons" David singleton is another example. They are a step above rob frozena level and I'm sure somewhat beneficial to have in practice but overall just a warm body
-
That's my point--Frozena>no body.
-
That's my point--Frozena>no body.
I'd personally be thrilled with one or two bodies to wear themselves out in practice so they can say they played at MU. But outside of a handful of guys already at MU who played in HS I don't see that happening from any transfers and I don't think Wojo is interested in devoting time and resources toward having a body but I think he'd accept one if they wanted to come.
-

You said you would be "thrilled." I would not be. He wouldn't play even with a Fischer injury.

Uhhh...what?
-
We have our graduate transfer, Mr. Carlino. I think Coach Wojo will have his hands full making sure that Carlino plays within a team concept. So since no one else has surfaced I would prefer to see the roster at its current size. Lets see what happens when our 5 coaches focus on 11 players. Each kid on this team has a chance to play to their best potential that way.
-
So since Mr. Mayo will be taking his talents to the professional level, I have decided to take another look at this list. I don't think we will be adding any graduate transfers. We will probably operating a man down. But just in case we wanted to bring someone in who could play right away, here are our options.
Let's look at the list as it was at our last update.
1. Taran Brown (UC Santa Barbara) 6-8 190 PF, 7.2 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.5 spg, 0.8 bpg, .314 3P
2. Deville Smith (UNLV) 6-0 175 PG, 9.7 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 2.7 apg, 1.0 spg, .338 3P
3. Nick Zeisloft (Illinois State) 6-4 185 SG, 6.9 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 0.9 apg, 0.6 spg, .355 3P Committed to Indiana
4. Anthony McDonald (Mississippi Valley State) 6-1 180 SG 11.9 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 1.4 apg, 0.8 spg, .359 3P Committed to North Carolina Central
5. Dwight Tarwater (Cornell) 6-6 230 SF, 7.1 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 1.0 apg, 0.3 spg, 0.5 bpg, .319 3P Committed to California
6. Gerald Coleman (Gonzaga) 6-4 170 SG, 6.0 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 0.8 apg, 0.5 spg, .125 3P
7. Sooren Derboghosian (UCLA) 6-10 240 C, 0.5 ppg, 0.3 rpg, 0.3 ag, 0.3 bpg, .000 3P Committed to Drexel
A lot of the talent came off the board. Tanned Tommy picked up a solid contributor in Nick Zeisloft. Sharpshooting Anthony McDonald is joining the NCCU Fighting Jamal Fergusons. Tarwater is heading to Berkeley (maybe we should have hired Cuonzo) And former UCLA big man Debbroghosian will get a chance to get off the bench at Drexel.
With no additional quality graduate transfers becoming available, the new list is short, but there is some solid talent.
1. Taran Brown (UC Santa Barbara) 6-8 190 PF, 7.2 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 1.5 apg, 0.5 spg, 0.8 bpg, .314 3P

Having bodies for practice is not a problem...our whole damn coaching staff is full of 30 year old All Americans

Plus Gabe Levin and Wally Ellenson will be practicing as well. Practice bodies will not be an issue.

This needs to be checked further, but I think Taran Brown actually has 2 more years to complete two years of eligibility.
-
Aaron Brown is on the market now and will be eligible immediately.
6-5 swingman that average 9.9 points and 4.3 rebounds last year. Also, was 39.1% from behind the arc.
Visited BC a couple days ago. Marquette and LSU have recently called.
-
From Southern Miss. Only played one year there after transferring from Temple where he was OK as a frosh and sophomore. In looking at their message boards, some think he didn't really mesh well with the new staff. He is from the northeast, which explains both BC and RI.
Not sure how serious the interest is by Marquette, but if the staff wants him, I am all for it.
-
One schollie open for 14-15. A 6'5 one-year rental wouldn't be bad. He can back up the post.

Noted, I think he is deserving of the title of most desirable graduate transfer at this point.

In 2 years he has shot 42 and 39 percent from deep on 2 attempts per game. Outside shooting would be welcome.
