Interesting, but he lost me here:
"All whilst shifting hundreds of thousands of civilians out of harm’s way and minimising innocent casualties."
There's plenty of evidence that the IDF has shifted civilians
into harm's way and done little to minimize innocent casualties.
I'd also point out a gap in logic here. He wants to argue that the IDF is executing this brilliant military campaign that's achieving its strategic goals while not only minimizing civilian casualties, but going out of the way to protect civilians. And yet, but his own admission, the IDF and Israeli government won't say this is what they're doing. They saying quite the opposite, and at great cost to their support both domestically and internationally.
Why would they do that? He has no answer, expect to brush is aside as "err... that's politics" as if the political goals can be separated from the military goals.
I'm far from a military expect, so it's entirely possible he's got it right. But at the surface level, it seems a bit more like what he wishes Israel was doing than what Israel actually is doing.
