Boston College researchers

Created a COVID variant with 80% mortality in mice.    I am all about 'never stop sciencing' and I get the rationale about creating it in order to create a better antidote.    Man, they are dancing on the edge.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

The research does show thought that if there was ever a recombination in nature of omicron (spike protein) and earlier strains like Delta, could lead to an exceptionally deadly strain.

Yes.  But the only virtue in this is figuring out how to kill it.
