Oso planning to go pro
Women are around 35 in the rpi. With some really nice wins. They r solidy in the field prolly 7-9 range. With a 5-6 possible with a BE title. Not bad for a predominantly underclassman lineup
For those of us who haven't paid attention this season, do the women have a chance at an at-large bid if they lose tomorrow? Or does their season come down to this? Either way, great to have them playing well too!
ESPN bracketology had them at an 8 the last few weeks but moved them to a 7 this morning. It would be great to avoid a 1 seed on their home court as the top 16 teams host in the first and second round.Outside of senior Yentz it has been pretty much the sophomores with playing time of late. Junior Shantelle Valentine's pt has diminished lately. The team wanted to get Yentz to the NCAA Tourney for the first time and they will achieve that goal.
Welcome to the party, boys.I am chuckling at some of these posts. If you had paid a scintilla of attention this year, you would have already known most of this stuff. Actually, a walking boot is an upgrade for Coach Kieger. She was zooming around on a knee scooter earlier in the year.Maybe next season you will start following them a little earlier. They aren't bad for a bunch of girls.
+1. This group has been great and Coach Kieger has done an incredible job turning things around. I wish they were appreciated more.
So, I have to choose between viewing the MU women or the UWM men in their tourney champ games. Tough call! I think I'll go with the faster paced, more athletic, better brand of basketball... The ladies win!
You are a big fan of Coach Peters, no?
The game @DePaul was one of the best games I've watched. 102-101 OT thriller. Both fan bases packed the place. Really excited about the state of the Marquette Basketball program!
Gee, how did I know that could get you to show up after disappearing for weeks?Must be nice to never make mistakes.
Mistake? What the hell is that?
