And what was Jamil doing?

Sliding into second base.

Hmm... me thinks JayBee would prefer third base.

I LOVE that GIF as your signature line. It seriously does wonders for my current emotional state when it comes to MU basketball. My favorite part of that (other than Vander beating everyone to the rim) is Davidson's guard trying to block out Gardner in the post--fundamentals are there, just a slight discrepancy in size.

I also love it.

I was watching it the other day and noticed something.  Take a look at when the pick comes.  Vander pauses mid-stride for a split second and the man who picks him up (Davidson's center) correspondingly pauses mid-stride for a split second.  And then BOOM Vander explodes past him.  I think what's at the heart of the success of that play is Vander implicitly (or explicitly, I suppose) knows that he has a quicker acceleration/jerk than the Davidson center (who is about 6'11 or so) and exploited it.

Good stuff.

My favorite video of that play:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btk8Mx8qnf0

It makes me completely forget that Buzz and co got outcoached the entire game until the last 2 minutes.

Who was on 1250?
