Is Kam a bit like Van Exel was in college?

Why would you ruin a great night by comparing an MU player to a….Bearcat?

Agree on both - like him as an announcer too

Point

He is a solid announcer and was a marginal player.

This is a completely different team tonight.  It's refreshing to see.

I’m already struggling with positive thoughts about a Badger, don’t make me do it about a Bearcat too

Fast starts is key for this team. It allows them to pressure the ball and get some transition easy baskets. Fast start has been my key of the game for past ten games.

Last post for the night. I enjoy that in the "coach huddle" Shaka doesn't just randomly scream about effort, but actually talks about what they should be doing during the game. Wild.

We need to send Tower out to perform a wellness check on Nolonger Warriors...

I expect something like... 'If Shaka was any good they would play lime that all the time.'   Or some such nonsense.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Brian Butch is better announcer than he was a player. I like him on the call tonight.

I hate that I like him as an announcer.

He has a style — tone and inflection — reminiscent of Tony Romo.

I hate it. I hate him.

He’s good.

So we’ve got our best distributor with 8 assists,

our best overall player and scorer  with nearly a double double,

our best defensive player (sorry Darryl) with 6 blocks, 5 boards and several other shots altered,

our best shooter with 14 pts on 4/5 from 3,

several other guys filling their roles admirably,

and our best defensive effort of the year.

That’s how you go up 30 on a top 25 team.

That’s a laughably bad call

Luckily we are up 29.

How do you miss a guy dribbling off his own face
Lazar picking up where the BIG 3 left off....

I don’t like his voice and he sounds like Dakich, but he’s actually really solid content and contribution wise.

Which is interesting cause he’s objectively awful on his radio show

Remember Dr. V, Providence is a very good defensive ball club.  We're a completely different team tonight on both ends of the floor.  It's only one game but it's does show we have potential.  I think the inside attack mindset opened up our entire arsenal and we have shown better patience offensively.  Defensively we have been steady and solid for the entire game.

Unleash

That is how a coach works a huddle. We have a big time coach and big time expectations for the program.

I wish we could have Kolek go back in time and teach Howard how to throw that pick-n-roll pass. I always felt that was the part missing from his game.

Or have Howard teach Kolek how to shoot like him.
