Marquette has an objectively better resume than Kentucky, and started the season ranked 5 spots ahead, but somehow the voters see Kentucky as the better team?

Three straight years we've reached the top-10, first time we've done that since the Amigos were here in 2007-2009. The turnaround this staff has made in less than 4 years remains remarkable.

Kentucky's win over Duke is the single highest-profile-nationally victory by any team this season. I'm not saying that justifies Kentucky being ranked higher; I'm saying that's why the electorate went there.

And it's OK. Polls are just snapshots and conversation starters. So we're all conversing about this latest snapshot.

I'm actually good with #10. If we were #9 or better, we'd have a target on our back from Stonehill.

We are more than likely going to move to 7 next Monday without even playing a game. These feast week tournament are going to give multiple top 10 teams multiple losses.

The funny thing is, neither of them did. Crean had back to back years twice (2002-03 & 2007-08) but Buzz took over in 2009 before he could make it a third time. No individual coach has done it since Al (Hank also did it two years).

Amen. It's been a tremendous change in the quality of coaching and the culture. Just glad the powers that be saw a change was needed and moved in the right direction.

Also it's not just top 10, they've blown through the glass ceiling of ranked 8 that nobody could previously.

Interesting, almost every vote that had us 13 had Purdue ahead of us, all but one of the voters who had us 12th, did not.

We will be higher than UCONN this coming Monday. Hoping for some more game results to help us out. Com' on Duke, NC, and Alabama!
