The other reason it's a crappy rule: the officials have such trouble understanding, reviewing, and enforcing it that every flagrant review comes with a 10 minute delay in the game.

Officials are letting them play. MU attacks the basket. Butler shoots 3s. That favors Butler (not a complaint, just how the game is being called). MU needs to adjust.
